Daytime fine dining with traditional table service.Reservations available.Established in 2012 this family owned restaurant is renowned for its quality, style and service. A must for visitors to Athlone who require a little something special.
Have been here quite regularly. I find Athlone difficult to find a great lunch place in. The corner house has a lovely interior, great staff and a varied menu. They often offer a complimentary little taster cup of their soup of the day which is a lovely touch. However for lunch time standards, I find their choices to be a little pricey for what can sometimes be quite small portions. Still highly recommend, just something to be aware of. Also think it has great potential for an evening dinner, they should consider opening later !!

Blissfully located upon the shores of Lough Ree, The Restaurant at Wineport Lodge enjoys an incomparable setting on the edge of Ireland's peaceful inland waterways. Guests can enjoy a warm welcome from our friendly team and with it, an innovative approach
Visited Wineport Lodge restaurant Sunday, was an excellent experience! The food , presentation and quality was high standard! The ambiance of the restaurant/Lodge added extra to my experience! The friendliness of the staff was very pleasant and nothing was a problem to them ! The restaurant was very busy but everyone were treated in the same manner! I look forward to to going back there again in the near future! Thanks for a fantastic experience!

Have eaten here nunerous times and have not been disappointed yet.The chilli beef wedges are just devine and the stuffed chicken with whiskey cream sauce is out of this world.Even something as simple as the vegetable soup is so creamy and packed full of flavour. Great value and pleasant helpful staff.

While stayed one night at the Quicklyâs marina at Killinure point we found this place just 10 min walking distance. The place was packed. The food was excellent, had Salmon and Chicken Fajitas. the desert was sold out, no wonder why. The strakes looked very good, next time we go for them. Very relaxing atmosphere. Reasonable prices, Salmon 20 and Fajitas 15, bottle of good wine 20 EUR. This place is closed on Tuesdays. This is exactly what happened to us when returning the boat we wanted to enjoy those great Steakes here and it was closed. Big disappointment.
