La gastronomie Française revisitée par un Chef Japonais à Bordeaux.Dans une ambiance volontairement épurée, le jeune chef japonais Akashi apporte une cuisine française traditionnelle et de précision issue de sa culture nippone. Les plats sont créés avec d
Lovely diner, exquisite dishes from Japanese chef, silent place but enough to concentrate on what you are eating...excellent for a business lunch or dinner. Good service and wines list will improve soon from the lady sommelier.

We four had a great lunch at this small restaurant just off the main pedestrian street. The service was prompt, the food excellent and imaginative. The kitchen graciously substituted vegetables to accommodate my wifeâs allergy to summer squash. My fish was perfectly prepared. well worth a stop.

Invite the guest to discover the world and culinary imagination of this young chef , he wanted a place to fresh atmosphere that allows our guest to forget the bustle of the city. His wish is to take you ' to amaze and delight you with a clean kitchen, sim
Our first dinner of our month long visit to Bordeaux was here. We were so impressed that we chose Sonâ for our last dinner. First of all, the room is stunning! A perfect blend of old and new, sleek and modern compliments the gorgeous ceilings. The staff is friendly, welcoming and very efficient. One menu, a 45 euro, five course, culinary adventure, changes daily. Well chosen wine list. On both visits, we shared foie gras, a nice potion for only 10 euros. We thought the first dinner was perfection with several high points...maybe all high points. The second dinner was not so successful, with a couple of misses. In both cases, the dessert was a scene stealer. Plating is artful, complimented by unusual serving pieces. The young chef is creative with a real sense of adventure, that is very evident. This is a very good restaurant, with loads of potential to be truly great, but itâs not there yet. Itâs still in itâs infancy. We look forward to returning next year....it will only get better and better.Good afternoon!Hmmm so disappointed about the mark I told to my mother that we will be maybe second ahah (true story lol) But I understand that we can improve our style. I'm agree with you off course ^^ I'm happy to see that you enjoyed your dinners , it's difficult to be always very powerful on every dishes but we always trying to. One day we will do it like you said! :D Just to know... Can you send me an email of what were your first dinner and the second one? Even if I have an Idea of the second one (Rolled lamb for the pre starter am I right?) We were so proud of that menu, specially the duck with the cherry sauce (but it's my own opinion indeed). Remember our email is :[email protected] you very much for your time!Kind regards, well seasoned salutations! The chef Sylvain

Nofa is a small «boutique restaurant» with Italian influences, located near Place Pey-Berland in the heart of downtown Bordeaux. On the menu, the recipes are featuring ingredients imported from Italy, cooked with French passion, with vegetarian friendly o
This place is such a gem, I had a lovely welcome when entering the restaurant itself (I hadnât booked). Itâs a family run affair and they all seemed to really enjoy it too. Just to pre-warn this isnât a single dish place, you have to order 2-3 course and trust me itâs worth it and itâs not overpriced at all.I went for two courses, a starter and a main (Plus some lovely wine). You have to try the salmon. This is quite a simple review for me but if youâre in Bordeaux make sure you go here for dinner - You will not be disappointed!!All the team is very happy to read those lines ! Thank you so much and we hope to have the pleasure to welcome you another time ! The Nofa team

L'Originel is a restaurant created by a passionate chef duo. You will find delicate and fresh cuisine, served in an intimate decoration.
We came across this little restaurant by accident and what a lucky accident it was. Small restaurant, lovely ambience, impeccable service, food one of the best meals we have had in France (and we live in France so you know this must have been something very special). Cannot rate this little restaurant highly enough.

The wine bar looks like a big living room, it has a very cosy and comfortable atmosphere. It is ideal for an apero before dinner or for a relaxing evening. We regret not having tried the brunch. The service is wonderful, we chose two glasses of red wine and a small degustation plate with cheese and ham. We enjoyed it very much

Well, after trying for three years, we finally managed to make a dinner reservation on a night and at a time that was suitable for us! It definitely was worth persevering because we were not disappointed at all.Service was extremely good and friendly. Menu was small with one vegetarian and one non-vegetarian option. But what they had was excellent. We would definitely come back again...if we can plan ahead and make the booking in advance.

The stables of a château , a glass and concrete cube , a view of the bridge of Aquitaine , the feeling of being in the countryside ... An original setting for an unusual cuisine: Vivien Durand knows how forget his great technique to reveal all his inspira
This restaurant is a one star Michelin place, and therefore serves good food, offers good service (and is expensive) . It lived up to the expectationIn the evening they just offer their two tasting menus, one of 5 courses and one of eight courses. We chose the 5 course menu and found even that was almost more than we could eat.The setting is breath-taking - but you do need to have a table in the half of the restaurant with the picture windows. Ask to be seated there when you reserve. We had a view over the château, and as night fell, the château was floodlitThe staff are very good, friendly and polite, without being over friendly nor obsequious.. Personally I found their uniform a bit odd, the men in jeans and white trainers, and the girls in red dresses and white trainersThe menu changes weekly, so you are unlikely to have what we had, but take it from me, the flavour, quality and presentation of the food is outstanding.. We had a bottle of wine , rather than the selection of different wines you can have with each course. For a Michelin star restaurant, the wines are reasonably pricedIt was a bit difficult to find, my GPS did not have the street given in their address. I put in a neighbouring street, and that got me to close enough, where we were able to pick up the street location signs for it. Once you get to it, there is ample parking, and you just walk into the château via the marked signsAll in all a wonderful evening
