A stylish European restaurant and Wine Bar situated in the heart of the city.. Sydney Established 18 years with many regular diners Trading breakfast lunch and dinner with drinks, a long list of wines by the glass and classic cocktails
Solo dinner while in Sydney on business.Warm upmarket bistro feel. Classic decor.Service is very good.Menu is one of those where you could eat most meals. I tried the porchetta which was excellent - how they got the crackling so crispy yet light I donât know.Soufflé to start was delicious too - light yet powerful in flavour.Great wine list - enjoyed a half bottle of one of my favourite Pinots.Prices are not over the top and great value.Very unassuming venue for one of Sydneyâs top restaurants (in my opinion)

Welcoming staff who work very hard with those who eat or outside at the pavement tables and with the takeaway crowds. The flat white I ordered arrived quickly despite their busy-ness and was perfect while their very own take on a bacon and egg roll was excellent with the added tang of their BBQ sauce. But beware, the eggs are deliciously runny. And again it seemed that the hot food arrived very quickly. All in all a very enjoyable brekkie.

Hidden off busy King St, this is an oasis of motorcycle workshop and dining place.Although the tables were communal, all diners were seated at the ends allowing for quiet conversations without being in the face of the next diner. The service was professional and friendly, with short explanations of the food. The beers were great and so was the coffee. The sardine katsu was just delicious with the thick soft serve white bread, just enough slaw and wasabi. I havenât had a good steak frites in ages and this was delightful. Cooked rare with an amazing charred outside, it was truly enjoyable. The butter with mushrooms and fungus was unusual but felt right with the steak. We had the pandan dessert with palm sugar honeycomb. It was very different yet good.I am glad I had the opportunity to try their creative food.

We had the pappardelle with the lamb shanks, the fettuccine, and the ravioli.. Beautiful food, very tasty. Three of us had the cheese cake for dessert, which was death by cheesecake. Delicious!! The pannacotta was also delicious, but I was glad I had the cheesecake... rolled out of there very happy!!

Didn't dine here on 26 January but a Wednesday evening late in June when the restaurant put on a special 'Native Australian Dinner' - a four-course meal featuring all native Australian produce plus matching wines for each course courtesy of Lowes wines from Mudgee. The deal was a $100 per head, so not too cheap, but we took a punt and were very happy that we did. It was the one set menu for everyone, and for an appetizer we had a bite-size spanner crab damper roll with bush-tomato jam (plus matching wine), followed by entree bush-spice cured kingfish with finger limes and macadamia. All good but the main course was just sensational, kangaroo loin with davidson plum sauce, greens and saltbush dumplings. It was accompanied by a superb 2015 Zinfandel from Lowes that we later found retailed for $75 a bottle. Should add that the man from Lowes was very generous in his pourings. Dessert was also brilliant: a lemon myrtle burnt alaska washed down with a late harvest Riesling. Couldn't fault the service, either. A great night out, all round.
