If it's your first time visiting the Amalfi Coast, chances are you'll do a double-take the first time you see a roadside lemon stand. Yes, those are lemons, and yes, they are the size of your head. But despite their freakish appearance, you will grow to love these lemons because the locals use them to produce limoncello. And take it from us, there's nothing like a glass of limoncello as you gaze out at the sea from the balcony of your hotel in Amalfi. It's pretty much perfection.

I enjoyed the seafood risotto at Marina Grande. The service, view and food were excellent and well priced. I expected to pay more for such a beautiful location, but it wasn't priced higher than any of the other restaurants we tried. A beautiful location to sit outside on a nice evening. Wine was also very good.

Only a few steps away from the cathedral, hidden in the alleyways of Amalfi in one of the most ancient and peaceful squares of the town, is the Taverna Buonvicino. In the authentic tradition of the Amalfi Coast, our guests will enjoy an a la carte menu an
This taverna is a little hidden but worth the effort to find. We were hoping to eat al fresco but rain persisted so we moved inside. The restaurant is lovely inside. The menu had a great selection. Wine selection as well as Spritzâs were really nice. Our favorite was the pasta with zucchini- it was light and fresh - one of the best pasta dishes I had throughout the trip through the Amalfi coast.

Enjoy a special dinner or a cocktail at Luna, one of the most panoramic terraces of the Amalfi Coast
This is a one of a kind personalized al fresco dinning experience. The views are truly spectacular from the dinning terrace so arrive early enough before the sun sets. The service by the staff is also phenomenal. There is no menu and you are presented at the beginning of your experience with a tray of fresh seafood choices selected by the chef... the lobsters of course are still alive and moving! Our main was accompanied by a simple pasta dish. As an appetizer, we were offered a Mozzarella and Burrata Caprese with pieces of sautéed fish. Everything can be modified to taste of course. Dessert was a cornucopia of smaller dessert samples. Food is well prepared and of high quality... but exceptional is really only the view which comes at a hefty price (expect $200/person with wine)! Definitely an adult experience worth trying once if you enjoy seafood!

Great tasting food, great service, and at a reasonable price. We found food in Amalfi exceptionally disappointing, and were ready to write the whole area off as a tourist trap where no one cares if you have a good time or not. This restaurant saved the day!I had a lovely version of carbonara, and there was a very tasty vegetarian dish for my wife.Highly recommend!
