Es un restaurante casero en donde te atienden bien, son amables y los precios son justos. Tiene una ambientación adecuada para el pueblo, con decoración de electrodomésticos antiguos y mesas con cubiertas de cuero. La comida no es nada del otro mundo, los sabores están bien y la calidad de los platos es básica. La ensalada muy mal presentada y la salsa de la sobrebarriga es muy simple. La porción de aguacate deja mucho que desear.

This wonderful little family-run restaurant is situated in a beautiful location, overlooking the Guatavita lake. The menu features a mix of Colombian food with international influences. The staff were very accomodating and made me a delicious vegetarian meal of ajiaco, a kind of soup served with corn and avocado, which is the best thing I have eaten in Colombia so far. The pandeyucas are a must and the house dessert, merengue with guayaba cream, is delicious. The owners, Nacho and Daisy, are very friendly. It is well worth having a chat with them-they give great recommendations about what to do in the area.I highly recommend this restaurant for a genuine Colombian experience.

We ate here two nights while staying at the El Dorado hotel that is actually attached to this restaurant with it's entrance located just around the corner. Our food was not only delicious but the quantity was so large that we had leftovers which they were so kind as to keep in their refrigerator for us till the next day. Their Jugos also were wonderful. Service was excellent and at 3,000 cp for a Colombia Club beer you can't go wrong.

A very special (I think never seen it before) a gigantic underground oven fed with wood & charcoal made three boiling kettles stuffed with salt produce delicate potatoes white covered with salt... Combined with traditional meat, ahi platan, yucca,,,, NOT to forget the Morcilla -delicioso!!!!

We had a wonderful tasty meal with fresh ecologically grown ingredients at Estellaâs restaurant. The host who also is the cook receives you with utmost attention, she is a warm hearted person and makes you feel at home at once. You are surrounded by wonderful nature , 2 lovely dogs and a tame bunny. The restaurant has a rustic/folkloric setting at 1 km above town with the best views of the entire beautiful reservoir . Be aware of the signs indicating the turn up to the restaurant before you enter Guatavita coming from Bogota. Otherwise call Estella and she will send you the exact directions . Andrea and Ute

Good food, friendly service and magical surroundings. The establishment is a little rustic but very comfortable no one should be put off by this aspect of the place. The arrival of the food is not quick, but not slow and well worth the wait with some fresh bread and drinks to take in the spectacular view of the lake. The food quality is first class and well prepared. Afterwards or over coffee Take some time to explore the garden, field, play ground, what ever you wish it to be and talk with the family owners.
