Very close to the El Penon, between the rock and the parking lot. Reasonable prices, about $6-$7 for a meal with a large portion. Sat at window counter/bar overlooking the beautiful scenery of the surrounding water. See photos. All food is made fresh, no pre-made food, so took about 20-25 minutes for our order to arrive. Very tasty food. Free bathroom for patrons.

There are several restaurants on this street all serving the same thing. This place is not worth the visit. We were sold on the view from one. The top floors. All the tables beside the window were dirty full of old food and empty bottles which were never cleaned up for the 2 hours we were there. It was dirty, food and drinks took over an hour. The whole place just had garbage and food everywhere. Yuck.

We loved our shared plate of shrimp alfredo. The shrimp tasted like what one would expect Caribean seaside. Excellent! We also enjoyed an appetizer of banana chips with an excellent dipping sauce. This is an excellent choice for a restaurant. Friendly and attentive service!!

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our dinner at the trailers. Itâs a cool concept with 7 different trailers situated on the side of a hill. Each trailer has a different cuisine. The kids order different food (bbq, burgers, Mexican, Italian pizzas and a waffle shop for dessert.) All the food was Amazing!! I had a really delicious burger with an Italian seasoned bun. The kids and husband all had delicious food. My husband ordered a gin and tonic from the bar - he said it was the best G&T he had his whole life (it had peppercorns and lots of fruit mixed in). Worth a stop for lunch while your in Guatapé.

If you are looking for a cute lunch spot off the busy plaza, you should go to this place. The owner is amazingly friendly and cooks delicious food at low prices. We had a minestrone which was fabulous, arepas as tasty as ever and freshly made juices. We even could see the lake from our table. Totally recommend this lovely place.

My stay in Guatape wouldenât be so good if not Cafe Martine. Food here is simply amazing! Every day was something different. I had meat option that was melting in my mouth every time. Super easy to find as itâs next to a wee square with coloured stairs. Very friendly family is running the place :) 1000% recommended to eat here !!!Buen suerte !m

I was surprised to find this place so budget friendly with quality that cannot go unnoticed. Sitting on top of the hotel, this is a penthouse-like environment with great decor, ample seating, ambiance, and a fantastic view over the lake. Clean, beautifully accented, it made me sweat, thinking I'd stumbled into some 5 Star restaurant with that kind of pricing. Wow, the menu had great selections with pasta, seafood, soups, salads, and more! At super economical prices! The wait staff was friendly, seating perfect, and an overall great feeling sitting by the gas torches/heaters overlooking parts of Guatape and the surroundings. We ordered cordon bleu, and I am here to tell you, it was fantastic! The sauce had an excellent flavor and consistency, the ceasar salad was delicious, the rustic potato slices were crisp on the outside and flavorful inside. De li cious! Besides that, the presentation of the meal was indeed 5 Star at 3 Star pricing! Great value. Cordon Blue (their menu spelling) and drinks, about $20 USD. We went several times to this bar / restaurant because George was so welcoming and gave us such good service. It was in an excellent position over looking the water and was a very comfortable place to spend a few hours drinking and chatting. Definitely recommend it.

Weâve never had Venezuelan food and we were delighted by the delicious meal we had there! They start by giving you a totally yummy small bowl of noodle soup with veggies and spices ( I could have eaten just this and I would have been impressed). We then each ordered a plate of costillas that come in a coconut sauce- Wow!!! I would eat there again in a heartbeat!
