Szechuan West used to be the King (Emperor?) of fried meat dumplings, but they've changed their chef, and they're not as good...and they're 15 miles away. Lucky Garden does the best ones in the AA/Ypsi area, so far as I can tell. The seasoning is right and the dipping sauce is perfect. They're a bit inconsistent, but when they're "on" they're really good.

We found this restaurant tonight and it was great! Super friendly staff and the service was better than at Chinese restaurants much larger than this. The food was fresh and fantastic value too. You will not leave hungry and there will probably be some to take home too. What a great find and we found it via Trip Advisor so thank you for posting.

Came here for BBQ and some kimbap. They sadly informed us that they donât serve kimbap on the weekend, only during the week. Thereâs a huge colander filled with red leaf lettuce at the next table. All bbq is nicely wrapped and dressed with the red leaf lettuce. We ordered 2 spicy chicken BBQ.My husband said itâs toasty inside, the air is on, maybe low, but thereâs a lot of heat from the grills no doubt. The spicy chicken meat is yummy and has a nice kick to it. The chicken meat came with asparagus, mushrooms, enoki mushrooms and onions. We asked for some garlic to add to the grill. Their kimchi banchan is not bad, they provided potato salad, fish cake, broccoli, green onion salad. They have the purple rice here. The bbq food was good and the service was great. All staff help each other out and you can ask anyone for anything and they will gladly bring it to you or address your concerns. Great service. I see why itâs so popular and often busy here. It was beyond filling and wonderfully delicious.

Hidden around the corner from a busy pizza place, in a strip mall, is this little take out place. You can dine in though, too, in one of the 5 or so booths. Very minimalist! Typical menu, typical prices. My Moo Goo Gai Pan was a bit salty, but my 7 steamed dumplings were wonderful! My dining partner chose a tofu and veggie dish and loved it. They managed to get the edges of the tofu chunks crisp and it was in a tasty brown sauce. The cook and other staff are friendly and the food does come out fairly quickly.

I really enjoyed our lunch here. My daughter and I both had tofu dishes. Her's was homestyle with vegetables and mine, forgive me if I'm wrong was Ma No Pai (?). No matter, it was delicious. The tofu is a soft version, great sauce with just enough heat. It came with rice and I chose an egg roll. $4.99!My daughter's dish had lots of broccoli and bamboo shoots, and carrots and onions. Also very good. The lunch menu has many choices for $4.99 and she had very good egg drop soup with hers. Some crunchy won ton strips were included on the side.I would like to go back here for dinner and enjoy some meat dishes. Daughter says dinner menu is a bit more, but servings are larger. She still took some of our lunch home. We had a large pot of hot tea with lunch.Don't go here to impress a date or looking for luxury. It is what it is, and I like it! Doubt if the decor has been redone in 20 years and who cares? The food and service are good and its clean. Can't wait to go back.

Lai Lai Restaurant is a Chinese Restaurant, providing Dine in, Take Out, Delivery Serives. All chinese dishes are authentic.
Lai Lai has been here for years, but is now under new management. Recently, I went here with a large group of friends, and all of ordered something different (everyone was pleased). Lai Lai has a large menu with ample portions, all of which were nicely prepared and seasoned. Our waiter was wonderful and offered suggestions upon request. The service was quick but not rushed. Great to have this option in this part of town!

As typical of Chinese buffets, the variety is impressive. The food was hot and appetizing looking. A few demerits: the small amounts of sushi & sashimi put out at one time, The buffet includes a grill but it was so hidden I didn't discover it until I was almost finished eating. Some items were not labeled but that's part of the fun of Chinese cuisine.

I went here with my son & family- they had heard about it but hadn't been there yet. We must've gotten there just in time as it got real busy with people waiting to be seated. I thought the noodle dish was just okay. The scallion pancakes were very good and my grandsons liked the pork & leek dumplings. Service was a bit sketchy- I got my noodle dish before we got our appetizer. Not sure if I would go again.
