Things to do in Yizheng
Being the only western restaurant in town it's actually quite good. The beer is very tasty (the dark beer is particularly good) and the food is passable too. The menu pretty consists of a few different types of sausage and mash with sauerkraut, tenderloin of pork or breaded escalope with fries, which, after being in China for a while, is actually quite well done and pretty tasty! Entertainment is provided by a very good phillipino band who wheel out music according to their audience of the night - they'll figure out if you're american, german, chinese or british and even take requests. When far from home, this eclectic mix of beer, food and music means you'll be able to while away an evening in relative comfort! The floor manager Cary made us feel very welcome and the service is ok. Pricewise it's not cheap, but charging a premium for good beer and western food isn't unexpected. We'll keep going back!
