Great food at this nice restaurant. Inside the Mingara Recreation Club it has all the favourites. We had Steamed dim sums and Vege spring rolls which were nice without being great. Kids had the chicken and corn soup which the loved. Mains were shared Chicken and Cashew and beef in black bean. Both very nice and went with the mandatory fried rice. Prices were reasonable but beer and wine over priced for a club restaurant.
The food was ok. The girl on the phone hung up on me mid phone call, after abruptly saying no delivery. So I called back, didn't really even apologize. Got there and she had taken the wrong order. I would avoid based on the experience.
I found the food to be ok. Mini springs rolls were tasty. Had steam dim sims and they were very tasty. my only complaint is you get 3 for the price most other chinese restaurants ihave been to which served 5 or 6. Lemon chicken was tasty and would order again. tried the small prawn omelette and would say it was tasteless. it had a large quantity of prawns and the sauce was nice but there was no taste to the prawn or omelette. would i order again. maybe. cant always tell from a first visit
Called in for lunch from the Bain Marie , the food wasn't too bad , with 7 options - a bit pricey compared to some other Chinese for their lunch deals - included a drink.

Booked Sunday lunch for 9 Family members. We have continually returned to this restaurant for over 25 years. We ordered entres, mains & desserts.Food was generous and so tasty.Average cost was $22 each, no corkage fees and cheap prices for large soft drink bottles unlike other restaurants. The service is always excellent. No wonder we keep returning time and time again.

Sat down to have a quick light meal and was told to take a seat staff were very attentive and ordered. The dim sums were not cooked properly and still very pink. The male counter hand couldnât understand I was not happy and just wanted to pay for my meal without a scene and leave. They gave me a discount as dim dim was raw on inside have eaten here few times but to wary now to eat

I 'dined' at the restaurant in the 'club' twice. My first meal was inedible at $ 20+. My second meal was digestable. Portions are large. The quality is poor. I guess, not many of the patrons would notice.
We have tried many Chinese restaurants on the Central Coast and RU's Chinese are by far the best. The staff are friendly, polite and helpful. We regularly eat from this restaurant and very often get takeaway and the food is delicious. The dishes are not filled with onions or MSG like other restaurants and the flavours of the dishes are perfect. The prices are reasonable compared to other Chinese restaurants. Would highly recommend this local restaurant to anyone who is a fussy and enjoys a good Chinese feed.

We decided to have food from here after reading great reviews on Tripadvisor and it did not dissapoint! The nasi goreng, fried rice and the black pepper chicken were excellent! Suggest giving salt and pepper prawns a miss! Too much batter. Will definitely go back again.
