The population was 13,498 at the 2010 census. The city was home to the former Wixom Assembly Plant, which produced the Lincoln LS, the Ford Thunderbird, the Ford GT, and the Lincoln Town Car. The plant closed its doors on May 31, 2007.

This is the best Chinese restaurant. The takeout is always busy, you have to stand in line. Everything we've had was excellent.

We were out driving one evening and came across this Chinese restaurant, one that we had not seen before though it has apparently been there for years.The food was so delicious. Take away or dine in at a few tables it is your choice. A great selection on the menu, super friendly staff and they appear to cook most everything fresh too. The food is piping hot when served and the flavor was very tasty. We will for sure be passing by this place again in the future.

Ka Hing is certainly the best Chinese restaurant in this area. We have been here several times now, and have never been disappointed. The egg rolls are top notch, the Chinese vegetable soup is a bit better than average, and their Hot and Sour soup is excellent, with the right amount of spice. They certainly have the best Egg Foo Young, my wife's favorite. Each pattie is about the size of a baseball, and the gravy is delicious. My favorite dish is the Szechuan Vegetables with fried tofu. They know how to make the perfect fried tofu, whereas other places fall short on the flavor and texture. This restaurant is clean, and the Chinese waitress speaks very good English and is very attentive.

Walked from daughter home to this small restaurant in a strip mall. What an incredible surprise!!! A good Malbec for 30 bucks was terrific and the portions are quite large. Had a 45 minute wait which was ok as we secured a small table in the bar with two chairs for the 4 of us. Brown rice, Thai green beans were yummy.

The value would be high if the food was good but sadly, it wasn't. As I had not been there before I went to my old standard, wonton soup ( brown broth?) Egg rolls ( the inside was mush the outside chewy) and Sweet and sour pork ( no vegetables just breaded pork and sauce.) If you can't manage to make decent Sweet and Sour Pork, you shouldn't be selling Chinese food.

We were quite impressed with this restaurant during our lunchtime visit. My wife and I both had shrimp dishes which had different names but were quite similar. For $6.25 each we got soup, egg rolls and our entrees with a choice of white or fried rice. That is really a good deal. The soups, Wonton and Egg drop were both excellent as was the egg roll. Our main dishes were delicious and plentiful. The service was also excellent.
