Food is typical fast food - Chinese style. Service by the order taker was rather lousy, especially her way of speaking to customers. She really needs to take some diction classes - she had to repeat everything she said to me several times before I understood what she said

Three of us visited for lunch. The restaurant was busy and we waited about 5 minutes to be seated. We were greeted by friendly waitress which took our drink order. The menu was varied and had plates that included noodles, meats, vegetables, dumplings, rice and more. We shared steamed vegetable dumplings which were hand made. The rice dumpling was soft, however very bland. I had the braised beef with rice. It included a hard boiled duck egg. The cilantro added flavor but overall again very bland. The beef was very well prepared and tender. One of party had the Dan Dan Noodles which were identified as spicy. I tried them and the flavor was much more intensified with the spice, not overly spicy but just right. I would encourage you to order any spicy item that meets your interest because I believe the flavor would be much more enjoyable. Everything was certainly authentic, service was prompt and cheerful.

This place has changed hands several times. I'm not sure how long it's been this name, but it's excellent, for everything: the food, service, location (Southland Shopping Center on Rt. 51), restrooms, etc. They also often have coupons available in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

I got some take-away here on the recommendation of a friend. This place is located in a dying strip mall. The interior turned out to be a large, hot, gloomy, and none-too-clean room with boxes and dead appliances piled up in one corner, sticky tables, and a surly 20-something yelling in Chinese at the people in the kitchen. Honestly, it looks like a movie stereotype of a nightmare Asian restaurant. You could eat in here, but why would you?Nevertheless, I persisted because I trust my friend. We waited a long time for our food. It was clear they were getting a lot of take-away orders, so people do seem to like the cooking. The wait turned out to be a good thing because our egg rolls and dumplings were, apparently, handmade on the spot and quite tasty. Our cold sesame noodles were not so appealing, being just noodles dressed with sesame oil and seeds, not sesame butter. After tasting we threw those away. The menu includes many of the usual Chinese favorites. This no frills place IS inexpensive. And, no, the food didnât make me sick. Would I come here again? Yeah, probably.

For years friends and family would all go here for the wonderful food at the lunch buffet, I mean it was so good you couldn't stop until you had tried everything, I moved out of state for a quite a long time but returned eventually because it was my home, I remembered the place and drove to the location it was and low and behold it was still there!! I took my younger brother and his 3 children there for lunch one day and was shocked on how terrible the food was, the place wasn't very busy like the old days at lunch time which made me wander when we walked in because it was hard to get a table sometimes. We tried several items at the buffet and were terribly disappointed about the tastes and flavors even the kids made comments about it, Seems that times are hard for everyone even restaurants but to cheapen the food is not a good idea, People are not afraid to pay for great food, I have waited for years to go eat the food again it left such a great memory in my mind, What a disappointment.

We get this a lot and never had any problems. We like the taste of our regular Chinese orders better than other local takeout spots. They do take credit or debit which is helpful. Most dishes come in two sizes. I'd recommend the pork-fried rice but they sell it as a meal and it is filling on its own. Looks clean inside. Will order again I'm sure.
