First of all; there are two Rose Garden restaurants in Varnamo, one in the center of town and one out by the highway next to McDonald's and other fast food joints. This review is for the one in the city. I tried the buffet alternative with a full all-you-can-eat menu including Mongolian BBQ. Food tastes good but nothing special. The variety is big with food from more or less every Asian country, which also becomes the problem since nothing is above standard. However, the quality of the buffet compared to the price makes this a great value meal. They also have different prices for kids separated in age groups. Great value, standard taste. I would consider going again but not in the near future.

Good location, located in the central of Varnamo. Running by a lady boss and very friendly and flexible. If given some days in advance, it is possible to arrange real chinese cuisine. Besides chinese dishes, restaurant also offers good pizza.Daily buffee lunch has big selection and good food.

This place serves food with ambition. The sushi is wonderfully decorated and there is a big variation. The buffet is variated with both Thai influences as well as Chinese. And the lunch deal is a bargain with an all you can eat menu for about 9€. Very popular around lunch makes it crowded (at lunch at least). Unfortunately, the food lacks some taste. The sushi all thou looking gorgeous lacks that "it" in taste. The dumplings (yes, they do dumplings too) suffers from the same lack of "it". The Thai dishes tastes pretty standard and the fried vegetables were very well prepared. Crispy and well cooked. I wouldn't hesitate to go here again. Even if there is a lack of "it" in the food it is still very good and their presentation and ambition to not only serve cheap lunches but to serve a wide variety of food is something to applaud.
