They have a lot of things on the buffet. Every time we have gone the food has disagreed with my stomach. For Oriental we go to either of two restaurants here both of which are consistently good.

While nothing spectacular, the New Hong Kong has a nice, clean buffet. The variety is a little less than some buffets as the restaurant is on the small side. The service was prompt but not friendly. Overall, a good choice if you are in the mood for Chinese in Thomasville.

Friends recommended Hong Yip Buffet or A La Carte to us and we had been frequenting this restaurant since then. It's a pleasant family-run establishment where you can see the cooks fixing your food in plain view. The owners cook the food sometimes, and the family prepare the vegetables where you could see them too. One feels part of the preparation of their sumptuous buffet offerings. The restaurant is clean and well run by the family.
