Been here last month around 4pm and was looking for lunch!!. Lady at reception didnt disappoint - she was helpful and manged to serve us(a group of 6) within few minutes. Food quality was decent. We ordered some local cuisine with overtones of indian food - didnt disappoint. Roti was Dal was excellent. The seating area inside the restaurant looked abit dark (not much natural light) but that maybe just me!!

Le Bistro Morisyen is a family business which provides food of quality at affordable prices in a cosy and unique setting. We are located on the Coastal road of Flic en Flac after Clinique de L'Occident and beside the bakery.
My friends had been here a few times and loved this place and the food, so I went with them, we all had the burgers and there are excellent!, served with fries and salad. The family who own the bistro are really sweet and friendly.

Sat on the decked gazebo. This huge and clean restaurant is an amazing setting for an evening dinner under the lights. The food we had was excellent. A lovely evening with good service.

We are the first & second generations Chinese born in Mauritius and our restaurant specialises predominantly in Chinese cuisine. Our menu is varied and includes some typical Mauritian dishes for those wanting something different but equally yummy.
Really nice Chinese food but be careful the portions tend to be massive especially the rice. Starters were also quite big. Very good value and good meal and service.

A disappointing dinner here. Not many people dining while we ate and the reason is that the food although reads well does not stack up.We ordered the spring rolls which was only 1 for $7,which was very good but had to order a second as it was not enough for 2 people. We found the dishes we ate were pumped up with onion and capsicum and the sauces stodgy. Service was good as it should have been considering there werent many diners. The Tepanyaki restaurant also shares the same room with a smaller annex doing the Tepanyaki. A forgettable meal.

La Marmite Mauricienne restaurant in Mauritius offers its customers good food as well as the taste of the Mauritian Cusine. This restaurant prides itself on its menu being fresh & authenic.
On the way back from the beach walked passed Le Marmite Mauricienne.Decided to book a table for later on that evening. This place had been recommended to us by some friends, so we were keen to sample the menu. We were greeted by very friendly staff. From the outside the place is not posh or ostentatious, it looks and feels very authentic, no airs and graces here-which is kind of what we want on holiday. The menu was very extensive, so much so that the waiter offered us advice. There is a European option which looked and sounded great but it was the real Mauritian cuisine that we were after. We were not disappointed. Portions were huge and tasted great. I'm not one for hot food, my husband is and he was given extra piment hot sauce with his dish. Our daughter was more than content with her chicken burger, fries and salad. My fruit de mer with fried rice was amazing and very filling. We did have to walk the dinner off as we were all so full and had to take a doggy bag. Were also given extra hot sauce to take home. All in all a very pleasant place. Excellent food and service which won't break the bank.Greeting from La Marmite Mauricienne. It has been a real pleasure to welcome you!.We are so happy that you enjoyed your dining experience. Thanks for having taken your time to give your feeling & impression to our little Restaurant. Thanks again!!! :-) for this wonderful review that touched my heart.Your words gave us a boost to maintain our good work & also gave us a thought on customer service excellence.Hope to see you again on your next vacation.Warm Regards,Yudish
