Good Chinese take out, every dish we had was good. Only place in town that has mushroom egg foo young, which is excellent.

My niece and I stopped on a Sunday afternoon. We both ordered the combination plates, pork with vegetables and beef with broccoli. These plates come with a pork egg roll and fried rice. The egg rolls were hot and fresh. The portion were generous. We both took enough food home for another meal. The service is prompt and friendly.

I would give 4.5 if it was an option. My husband and I came to HuHot for a Saturday night date night. While it was a little slow for a Saturday night (I believe it was Taste of Sun Prairie during that time), I felt the server could be a little more attentive to refilling drinks, etc and a couple food choices in the buffet were low when we went through, I overall felt this was a great experience and would definitely return! It's a bit pricey for my preference (we spent over $50 with tip, 1 soda & dessert in addition to our 2 buffets) & I would love to see dessert included in the price, but service was otherwise great and food was fresh. Also a great new location! Happy to have a HuHot on this side of town!
Where to eat Pizza food in Sun Prairie: The Best Restaurants and Bars
The old House of Mei has been changed over to China Garden. I'm always on the lookout for new places, so decided to drop by and try this restaurant for lunch. Overall, the service was very good, and the luncheon size portion of Kung Pao Shrimp was plentiful and tasty. The dish had about six large shrimp and was very filling. So why not a five? First, with the lunch specials, there is a choice of soup or egg roll. I asked for wonton soup and was told that the only soups included are egg drop or hot and sour. The price on the regular menu is the same, so why not wonton? That notwithstanding, the egg drop soup was very good. I did try the egg roll also. It seemed to have a minced protein (maybe chicken?) in it. It was not greasy, which is a real plus, but it was not anything special either. Next time, I'll stick with the soup.Would I go back again? Absolutely. As I've said, the flavors were good and the portions generous. Welcome to Sun Prairie.
