After my daughter passed all her GCSEâs we thought we should go out for a meal and because we have visited the Golden Orient before and the meal was delicious we thought we should go back and can I say we wasnât disappointed because again the food was excellent and delicious. What more can you ask for. Enough said.

Phoned in an order which had to be recooked as wrong on arrival to collect, on getting home this had been done wrong as well. Normally good must have been an off day.Sorry for the mistakes that were made on your visit to the wok stop. If you would like to phone the shop or pay us a visit and ask for Hon we will try to resolve the matter.

The owner and staff couldn't do more to make everyone welcome. Just the right sort of welcome and friendliness here- with every customer or party that came in. Very busy place, a good sign too.The banquet menu is great value, meaning you don't have to think too much about what you're ordering- as it's 3 courses inc starters, a crispy duck course then the mains.So I'd heartily recommend this place- booking advisable- was very busy on a Wednesday.

We were recommended this restaurant by a regular customer and we loved it!Helpful, welcoming staff from the start and throughout our meal. Lovely relaxing and clean environment.We chose a banquet meal for 2 and it truly was.The crispy duck pancake portions were generous, the prawns large, fillet of beef succulent and chicken in black bean sauce tasty.Coffee at the end if the meal was included. It was very good value and we left feeling we had experienced a memorable evening.We enjoyed everything and the lovely young ladies serving us were a credit to this establishment. I would certainly recommended this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Stafford and ignore the past negative reviews on this site. It's a big thumbs up from us.Thank you for your lovely review. We will try our best to maintain the good standards.

Excellent food, speedily delivered. Best Chinese I've had in a long time. We had the Yuk Sung and spare ribs with Peking sauce for starter followed by roast pork with ginger and spring onion and beef Szechuan. We had side portions of soft noodles and mushrooms. Everything tasted fresh with some lovely combinations of spices. We left some only because a) we ordered too much and b) the portions are large. Highly recommended.
