Ordered takeout for the family and enjoyed every item selected from traditional (egg roll, chicken fingers, spare ribs) to the tempura and beef dishes.Unfortunately on arriving home we discovered no sauces were included.Called the restaurant and though they do not deliver they rushed a selection of sauces to our house delivered by the manager. Greatly appreciated and impressed with their recovery we'll certainly return.

Such great Chinese food! I always get the soup... we order the egg drop and add won tons... like the egg drop broth better than the peppery won ton broth. Shrimp with black bean sauce, house special fried rice. Service is fast and friendly. Who needs a view when the food is this good!

Ate here recently with co-workers. The buffet is very extensive and soup comes with the meal. They did not serve hot tea, perhaps you have to ask. Although the appetizers and main dishes were plentiful, they were ok at best. They also serve sushi but I donât generally eat that anywhere so I did not try it. The place was very busy so clearly people like the food. The decor is very nice. It is worth trying if you havenât been.

Food is always very good here. Tonight, pan fried goyza, shrimp with vegetables, and Pad Thai... all excellent. Service from kitchen a little slow tonight. Waitress was great.

This place fills a need. It's got very good chow, is comfortable, casual and since its very large there is never a wait for a table. Loved the lobster with ginger and scallions, egg rolls, spicy green beans,rainbow maki, won ton soup, sashimi, shanghai noodles, dumplings. Hot tea. Good service.

We have ordered takeout from the Silk Road Bistro numerous times over the past few years. This is far and away the best Chinese food we have ever had in the US. In a category that is dominated by poorly prepared renditions of what people think is Chinese cuisine, Silk Road Bistro stands out as truly superior. Everything we have tried is flavorful and fresh-tasting. The fried dishes are obviously prepared in fresh, clean oil, none of the greasy taste that you get in so many other places. If you are in downtown Marlborough, you can't do better than the Silk Road Bistro.

One of the highlights of this visit was our waiter, Brian. He was attentive, polite, friendly, and funny! Our dining companion has been here many times, but this was the first visit for my wife and me. Our companion thinks the chicken wings are the best she's ever had (my wife says "average"). We enjoyed the wonton soup, and the crab rangoons were amazing - really the best we've eaten! The garlic shrimp was the saltiest food I have ever eaten in my life. It was quite a disappointment since we LOVE the garlic shrimp down the street at Cherry Blossom (which happens to have the worst crab rangoons I've ever eaten.) The fried rice was light and fluffy, but the chicken rice noodles, while not oily, had no flavor. The egg roll had a strange flavor to it, almost like it had fennel in it. Soâ¦.would we go back on our own? No. Would we go with our friend again - sureâ¦.
