First time visit, we went for the table buffet and weren't disappointed, the lovely lass serving us recommended dishes I would never have thought of trying, (all made fresh and in small portions) so If there was something you really loved she encouraged you to order more, so to summise, had a great feed at a good price food all freshly made with good service.

We used this Chinese weekly. But recently changed as its not as good. Chips dry. Prawn crackers soggy!! But will try again as before it was great.

I ordered from this Chinese on my caravan trip and was really looking forward to it! The man delivered it to our caravan door what was great. We ordered chips,rice, salt n pepper chicken and curry sauce, everything was good however the curry sauce tasted like it had coffee poured into it. This really ruined my meal and I was gutted about it as I was really looking forward to it

Was looking for somewhere to eat as we were just passing through and come across this small Chinese cafe, we seen a poster for a 2/3 course meals for £4.90 & £5.20. Theres only a few tables it wasnt that busy, I had the 2 course of 5 mini spring rolls with a little salad & sweet chilli sauce which were lovely then I had the special curry with fried rice was lovely I was full of just a 2 course. My hubby had bbq spare ribs top up withsalt & pepper extra 30p he said they were really nice then he had beef curry with fries which he really enjoyed as well. We couldnt believe what we got for the price well worth it they do take aways as well.

What can i say ..... the food from here is outstanding . The choice is brill and if its not on the menue well just ask . Nothing is a bother and will be made just tbe way you want it . I actully found this chinese take out by accident . I was driving home late from an event and was hungry . I spotted the sign and stopped . That night i just had chips and curry . Was the best curry i had in forever . Tadted like the curry i used to get as a teenager . Next time i was wanting chinese i orderd from them for me and family . Came promptly and piping hot. All the family agreed was best take out and they all use this place now . Worth a try if your local .you wont be disappointed x

This has got to be the best Chinese Take Away in Saltcoats have used Shan Moon for years and never ever had a bad meal, my wife would rather do without having Chinese if Shan Moon is closed. The Salt and Chilli Chips are amazing and are a must for every meal we order.
