New to this neighborhood I sought out a Chinese restaurant, attracted by the banner touting dim sum. Found the food and service to be sub-par; hostess(owner?) with pasted on smile and haughty attitude; decor a mish-mash of gaudy (my opinion) Chinese bric-a-brac, and the food some of the worst I've ever eaten in the Bay Area.(I am originally from China.) The sauces tasted pre-made,as if they came out of a can and high in sodium and who knows what else.The dim sum tasted as if they had been defrosted from a frozen package and then steamed to a paste...Flavor something akin to Janitor-In-A-Drum or Lysol.No questions made by the server-hostess upon clearing the table of the one-bite-taken dim sum still on the serving dish. Sorry, once was too much for someone who loves Chinese food.Please note: I am NOT a competitor' nor have I ever submitted such a poor review.

It smelled delicious when I arrived at 5:15 pm. I was the only one dining-in, although there were 3 people waiting to pick up take out orders.The menu was very complete and everything looked good. I opted for the pan fried noodles because I haven't had them in a while. A huge plate arrived (I was on the phone with my son & forgot to take photo) and it was loaded with savory shrimp, beef, broccoli & veggies all piled high on crispy fried noodles. Perfect and delicious. I even had enough to take home for another meal. Service was excellent and they have beer & wine if you enjoy that..Another table of 4 arrived while I was there and told me that they drive over from Santa Rosa especially for the pot stickers on a weekday because it is so busy on weekends. There was also a steady stream of take out the whole time I was there. It's in a small strip center & not fancy, but excellent. I walked from the RV park where it was recommended to me. Will return when in the area.

We choose this restaurant because it was very close to the Hampton Inn we were staying in. You do have to walk through the smoky casino to get there. There were huge (like 5 foot tall) prayer wheels which actually turned. We were seated at a very large booth because their metal chairs looked terribly uncomfortable for my back. Our server was prompt. Our Mai Tai drinks were HORRIBLE! I ordered a shot of dark rum and that made mine drinkable (still not wonderful). My husband ordered the Bento box and he enjoyed the teriyaki chicken and salmon, white rice, and miso soup. I enjoyed their tempura walnut prawns with a creamy pineapple sauce and a side of white rice. The sauce made the dish! We also had a bowl of blackened edamame. Timing of the dishes was rather weird. My shrimp came out first, then the edamame, then the miso soup, then the Bento box. Besides that it was a nice meal.

This is a great local restaurant that has great food. My wife recently has had to start eating gluten-free which when that happens can be difficult to find restaurants that have a lot of options. China delight was great in helping us and telling us which menu items were gluten-free.This along with continual great Chinese food this makes it a great place to go.Enjoy!!!

I love chinese food and this is very good. For a neighborhood place, it is very flavorful and fresh and crispy when it should be. Even take out does not suffer from "wilt". We love the spicy food and theirs does not disappoint. Only problem is that I want to keep eating. Give this place a try, you won't be sorry

Really good Chinese food. The line was to the door the entire time we were there. It was hot, fresh and very very good. The Beijing Beef and Orange Chicken are among our favorites. My husband loves the walnut shrimp and crab cheese puffs. I am not a huge fan of their sweet and sour sauce. The staff is friendly and efficient. We will definitely return next time we are in the area.

WOW! This place is fantastic! First, it's easily accessible & has plenty of parking. The restaurant itself is decorated very nicely, & it's very comfortable. The people that work there are very friendly, & helpful. Now, for the food. Even though this was our first time here, we ordered a lot of takeout because we were having family in from San Francisco. I myself am 5 th generation S.F. so I am very particular about Chinese food. Here in Sonoma County I have only found one place that was pretty good. But, this place is off the hook. Every dish we ordered was absolutely perfect. For appetizers we ordered the B.B.Q. Spareribs, egg rolls, crab puffs, salt & pepper chicken wings, Shang Hai steamed dumplings, & spicy wonton. Everything was very good, but the wings were excellent. And something that I have never seen anywhere else except S.F., was the Shang Hai dumplings & spicy wontons. If you visit here you must get both these items, what a special treat. The dumplings were so flavorful, and I loved the peanut sauce with green onions on the spicy wontons. Everything was so fresh tasting. Everyone raved about the food. Then for the main dishes we ordered Black Pepper Beef Steak Sizzling Platter, ( outrageously good ), Hunan Chicken, ( delicious ), sweet & sour pork, ( yummy crispy pork, & tender veggies & pineapple ), Mongolian Lamb, ( the meat was so tender & the sauce was a tastebuds delight ), combination chow fun, ( I usually get chow mein but wanted to try this dish. The noodles are wider, & the sauce, meats, shrimp, & veggies were out of this world! Everyone loved it ). We will be back again, this time to dine inside & try other dishes. This is now one of my top favorite restaurants in Sonoma County. I no longer have to go to S.F., for excellent Chinese food.
