really liked the decor and feel of the place, very friendly staff, great menu for vegetarians, the dumplings are superb, the mango salad is very refreshing and the main course also has sufficient variety for vegetarians, we went twice during our recent trip to new york and highly recommend it.

We tried this place for the first time and last time.We ordered a dish called dragon Fantasia that included scallops, lobster and shrimp. The lobster was like rubber and the shrimp was tough. But the topper was the dish was loaded with tofu.It wasnât included on the menu so we asked our waiter why it was there. He claimed that it was chicken, but chicken wasnât on the menu.He finally admitted that it was tofu.Nobody wanted to explain why it was there. The mgr wouldnât explain it and just wanted us to pay for our meal if we were done.I could go on about this but I will leave it at that.

So glad to have dinner here again last night. They said they had reopened 3 days earlier with the same kitchen staff. The soup dumplings were phenomenal, better than ever, if thatâs possible. Food tastes a bit more refined. Prices are somewhat higher but thatâs to be expected after renovation. Donât be put off by the menu which looks like one in any old common Chinese restaurant. We had our favorites: doumiao (spring shoots of baby snow peas), mapo doufu (bean curd and spicy ground meat), Wuxi spare ribs with baby bok choy (same sauce as former pork belly), and of course soup dumplings. We love the pork ones but crabmeat are yummy too. Glad theyâre back in business! Highly recommend if you want authentic Shanghai cuisine. Hurry back for an amazing culinary treat!

My mom and I had dinner at Flor de Mayo last night around 7. It was packed. We waited five minutes for a table to become available. The restaurant is full of friends and family, and very lively. We ordered egg roll ($4 for one is expensive), fried plantains, lomo saltado, egg foo yung and special fried rice. All was very good as it always.Added to this, half a carafe of wine for $13 (excellent value). We will definitely be returning.

he best soup dumpling you can't miss!!! Taste it , Like it! Our signature Bun is Xiao Long Bao, It is a type of steamed bun (baozi) from the Jiangnan region of China, especially associated with Shanghai and Wuxi. It is traditionally prepared in xiaolong,
Itâs tucked in a small corner of a Korean shopping plaza and looked very unassuming. But inside, the place is clean and the service excellent. The menu is self-explanatory with lots of illustrative pictures for the uninitiated. Obviously, a large variety of dumplings and noodle soups are available, but you could also select a number of other traditional Chinese/Korean dishes. You order by checking your selections off a list provided with the menu. We love our dumplings! The additional eggplant sautéed sweet and sour style was also excellent. No liquor license but BYO wine and beer could easily be obtained from nearby liquor stores. Prices are reasonable, and ample parking is available underground or street side. Background noise inside the restaurant was insignificant allowing for easy conversation. Highly recommended for outing with family, friends and businesses.
