It's not fancy or upscale. Menu is large and varied. Lunch menu and dinner specials. We eat here alone or with friends and family occasionally and also do takeout. Food is always served fresh and hot. Tea comes with meal. Combination dinners are excellent and filling. The fish, shrimp and chicken dishes are all good as are the beef and pork. Prices are reasonable and portions are good size.
We had family come from Florida for a visit. We stopped here because it was a sit down and eat~ closest you have to a buffet. You pick two or three entrees with the sides of rice and chow mein. Chicken. Beef. Shrimp. They have premium entrees like Shrimp that would cost $1 more each item. But it is so worth it. A few items are Spicy. They change their specials a lot. It really quick service and very fresh food. ...(Save your receipt then call or go online to do a survey and you get a free side entree.) They even have a Rice Bowl with one entree. Sodas. This is one of the best places to eat.
First impression: The building is ugly and needs some fresh paint (and much more). But, are you looking for "fine dining" when you're going to a chinese buffet? Definitely not. Second impression: The food aerea looks good, the variety of food is okay and filled up continuously, the hot items ARE hot, but not overcooked. The service is good, too.
On the positive, it's cheap, and they give you a lot of food. However, the food has no flavor whatsoever, I think they even water the soysauce. Robert Irwin would have a field day with this place, water stained ceilings, paint peeling on the walls, and curtains that havne't been washed since they were hung.....probably 10 years or more...Do yourself a favor and go to the golden arches if you are hungry...

It had been a while since I visited New China, and was greatly disappointed. The quality of food has deteriorated. The various chicken dishes were extremely tough. The peel and eat shrimp had not been cleaned...they came complete with the "poop" vein intact. The biggest surprise was the cocktail sauce...it was not made with chili sauce and horseradish, rather they used tomato paste with just a hint of horseradish stirred into it. This will be my last time to visit this place. Not once did the staff come to clear away my 3 plates, nor offer me refills on my drink. Oh, and to top it all off, they have raised the price of the buffet.
