We expected more from reading the reviews. We both said it was ok, but definitely not as nice as other Chinese buffets we have eaten - not that we didnât eat plenty -but the quality wasnât there. Good- fast, friendly service, delicious fried chicken wings and cremescicle ice cream. ( Yes, I know, not Asian; but hey, they were two of the nicest foods on the buffet). Bad- The potstickers had very tough edges; the imitation crab dish was terrible - and I have never disliked that dish; the garlic green beans were tasty, but not warm enough; the lo mein was dark and full of soy sauce; the garlic shrimp and peel and eats were over cooked and tough. I would say itâs ok to go there if you really want Chinese; but in the future, we will go elsewhere.

Being from a large city, I find the Chinese food in Poplar Bluff to be a joke. China Wok in the closest thing to real Chinese food in this town.

Good Chinese food, all in fairly sweet sauces, hot and fresh.Nothing fancy, small interior.Run by a Latino family, which I mention because the Crag Rangoon shells are lighter and crispier than at most Chinese restaurants, almost more like thin tortilla puffs.We have traveled twice through Poplar Bluff, and made sure to come back this time!
