Went to lunch with friends. We let them order, as they had eaten there before. We got the steak cubes with vegetables (beef raw, vegtables good), beef chow fun (very good), fried rice (bland), and lemon chicken (delicious). Disappointing overall. You can eat well here, but be very picky.

For me, this restaurant sets the bar for Chinese food. Service is fast and the food prepared with lots of flavor. In addition, all the dishes are reasonably priced. I enjoy it everytime I go which is a couple times a month. The only thing that keeps it from an excellent rating is that the atmosphere is that of a high volume restaurant instead of a quiet dining establishment. For me, that's OK since I know it before beforehand. I recommend it for an informal dining experience.

Went to Hunan Villa for lunch today and the food and service were great. The soup, Mongolian Beef and Chow Mein lunch was great. Also ordered the fried prawn appetizer. The food came out fresh and extremely quick. The servers continually checked to be sure my lunch was perfect.

We went there yesterday for lunch. They have special lunch menu and also have a fixed price special with a choice of 3 items. The servings are pretty large and includes a choice of complimentary soups. We've been here many times before and have never been disappointed by the food.

New Years day banquet with relatives. No waiting, arrived at 5:10pm. Ample parking, at least for the holiday.Portions for banquet sharing were ample. Authentic Chinese vegetables. Fried fish was salty. Sweet and sour pork chop was good. They gave bowls of rice, versus a large container of rice. Service is OK. They didn't have a lot of help, so just call the staff over if you need something. Got mango pudding for dessert. My aunt also orders take out dim sum and chow mein from this restaurant. So if you are looking for authentic Chinese food and can't get to San Francisco or Oakland Chinatown, try this place out.

We went looking for Sichuan cuisine. We found everything smothered in a non-descript sweet-sour sauce with just a bit of heat. The Mala Chicken (supposedly hot and spicy) was a weak General Tso variant. I suspect the cook is Cantonese. Very disappointing, especially when it is so close to good restaurants in El Cerrito and Albany.
