First visit to Sizzling Wok for us as a family for a treat for my husband from darling daughters!!! The restaurant looked & felt welcoming, the waiting staff being helpful and friendly all evening despite being, clearly, very busy. As a previous reviewer stated portions were quite small but as you can order as much as you want to, this meant we could enjoy many delicious dishes before becoming too full. And sample the dishes we did!!! This is probably the nicest Chinese food Iâve eaten in a long time. At £17.90 per person (excluding drinks) itâs not cheap, especially if you have a small appetite but we knew the price when we booked. A minor complaint would be that we had to wait a little to re-order dishes, whether this is a deliberate ploy or just that staff were very busy I donât know. Still!! We canât wait to return!!

Fancied a Chinese so because they wouldn't answer the phone we walked down to Wing Fat and asked if they had a table for us. It was full but they found us a table. Our order was taken and before we knew it, it was there on the table. I've always reckoned that if you are kept waiting then you know it was freshly cooked. My partner didn't get his vegetable rice that he had ordered to go with his king prawn and pineapple. Mine had gone cold after I had two helpings of my chicken chow mein. Those daft food warmers are useless, especially if the plate was cold in the first place. Bit disappointed to say the least .

Itâs been the third time we have had meals delivered to us, like anything you compare and find stunning food and ok! Starter for 2 dim sum platterGood, fatty small ribs and tiny spring rolls, crab claws beautiful,prawn toast nice and dipping sauce yummy!!Also chicken and beef yuk sung lettuce wraps, not again for us,very watery!we usually have chicken from elsewhere and the mix didnât work for us! Personal taste, one or other Mains Cantonese sweet and sour chicken with egg fried rice, superb!!Singapore style chow mein looked very overdone seared noodles but was very enjoyable!!â¤ï¸We shall order from there again, what they are good at deserves a five!others not to our taste a three but overall the good food outdoes the others! If I could make suggestions Less fatty pork ribsMore filling maybe orlarger spring rolls Highly recommend

Called in last night on a whim. We were originally going next door for a kebab but did a last second food swerve. There were several other diners in but we were seated and served in minutes. Two sizzling specials, two drinks and a delightful experience. I see the place is still getting many mixed reviews on here, but our visits have always been great.
