Things to do in Parker
Cold and miserable day, we went here for Lunch. Food is great and it is fresh off the hotplates. Certainly brightened up our day. There is nothing special about the restaurant itself, it is just a place to eat and run. But the food is great.A Tip, from one of the staff behind the counter.Always get your food as a take-out - you get more

On the positive side, the food order was accurate and ready when we picked it up. On the negative side, even though the restaurant was empty, and we could clearly see that our order was ready, the front-desk person refused to acknowledge us (he was on the phone). In fact, he didn't even look at us, but turned his back and continued his phone conversation for TEN MINUTES, while we waited for someone to get us our order. The food was bland, tasteless, and the rice had the texture of reheated instant rice. General Tao was not spicy as expected. Egg Foo Young was dry and tasteless. Never again.

This recently opened Chinese Restaurant offers quiet, clean surroundings and very rapid service. The servings are adequate without being immense. The food is tasty but a bit on the bland side. We would dine there again if in the neighborhood, but would not make an expedition to get there.

In the case of China Cafe, looks are not deceiving. It looks like a take-out-only restaurant, with tasty but completely unhealthy food. Yep, that's exactly what it is. The food was hot, plentiful, and good, but really, I was afraid of getting sick from the grease and kitchen conditions. I was fine, so yay! I don't know if I'll eat there again, but if you're looking for yummy, greasy, MSG-laden Chinese food, Cafe China is your place. Enjoy!

When our previous Chinese restaurant started becoming inconsistent, we decided to try New Dynasty. When I first moved to Parker, this place had just opened, and I remember them having the most unique wonton soup. We've been twice now, for lunch, and for dinner, and tried to order many different dishes to get an idea of the entire menu, and haven't been let down yet. The lunch menu is a great deal, including soup, fried rice, and an eggroll, in addition to the main which is just enough. Dinner portions are, of course, larger, and the extras are a la carte, except for steamed rice. The most unique item we've had here is also one of our favorites: the sesame chicken. Most places put way too much breading on their chicken, and it reheats terribly, which is one of the best things about Chinese food - the leftovers. New Dynasty has perfected a perfect coating on their sesame chicken. It's very light, and has some crispness to it, giving it a terrific texture along with the flavorful sauce.Other great items are: sweet and sour pork/chicken (but get the sauce on the side so the coating doesn't get mushy), the house wonton soup (available at dinner only, but packed with protein), and the lunch Mu Shu (where you get the item prewrapped instead of building it yourself).Tea costs extra, but is very good.I'm not sure the restaurant has been updated much over the years, but it's not too shabby. The restrooms are bit interesting with their signs not to flush toilet paper.

Many happy and satisfying visits; multiple take-out dinners when short on time or energy--this is our go-to Asian food place for a reason. It is quite simply excellent. Johnny and his wife will make you happy with their food and their hospitality. Don't hesitate or hold back from the strip-mall location. The space is intimate and pleasing; quiet with simple elegance--just right to enjoy anything on the varied menu. (if you ask for "hot" you'll get "hot"). We love this place.

May 2019, party of 17.Parking was easy. We came around 7:44 PM, without a reservation, and they were able to accommodate us.We just ordered 11 dinner entrees, 2 appetizers, for everyone to share... and the portions were big enough to share.. with some left overs!Servers were a little slow in refilling our water but that's ok.The total was about $190 with tip included. Pretty cheap, eh..If this review helped you in any way please give it a thumbs up..Bon appetit!
