We went to this place at lunchtime. Buffet and a la carte was on offer. The buffet was really fresh, hot and tasty. We were told, that we normally need pre booking. The friendly staff managed to fit us in without that booking. Nice experience in nice setting. Everything looked very clean. We had an enjoyable meal and a nice break in beautiful surrounding.

After a hectic day we went there to save us the trouble of cooking. They offer a Buffet ready for self help. The variety is so big that you have to think before you start! We started with sushi which was very enjoyable. Then we chose from the uncooked section and while that was being stir-fried for us, we helped ourselves to the numerous cooked dishes. Some were very good and some not as good, but nothing was not good! By the look of all the occupied tables, they seemed to be very popular.I will definitely go there again.

Situated next to Bensberg´s famous 5-star Schlosshotel and the town hall, the "Hongkong" offers views of Cologne Cathedral and the Siebengebirge (seven hills) east of Bonn, so when you phone to book a table, ask for a table with a view. It is one of the the best Chinese restaurants in the region of Cologne, and definitely worth a visit; the food and service are very good. On very warm days, the patio in front of the restaurant is the place to be.
