The Chinese was nice but not the best Iâve had! For the money I paid I would of expect complimentary prawn crackers just like other Chinese restaurants / takeaways. Other than that it was ok but I wonât be my first option next time.

Visiting family in Ilkley we decided to try this takeaway having seen the rave reviews. What can I say other than we were disappointed. The menu is somewhat limited being a mixture of Chinese and Thai dishes. Telephone ordering took an age but at the 9th attempt I finally got through. We ordered salt and pepper ribs, salt and pepper chicken wings, chicken kung po, chicken curry, fried rice and noodles. On collection I noticed there wasn't complimentary prawn crackers as is the norm at many takeaways so asked for them to be added only to find I was charged for them. The prices are also slightly on the high side compared to other establishments in the area. About the food; the ribs were dry and tough; the chicken wings slightly less but again not succulent. The chicken kung po was unlike any I have had before and over sweet and rather bland whilst the chicken curry was ok. To summarise the takeaway did not live up to expectations and offered nothing to entice us back there again

There's no obvious price reduction for taking away, so you pay the restaurant price, which isn't cheap at all. That said, the staff are attentive and skyward polite, and the food is the best Chinese food in the north, if not the UK. Definitely recommend it, but be prepared for the bill!
