Less than a year old. Great food.
This is a nice little family run Chinese place in a dated strip mall. But don't let the appearances of the strip mall full you. Oregon doesn't really have a modern strip mall. Oregon's basically a bedroom community with a few strip malls they were built during the 80s and forgot about. And a whole bunch of oil refineries and other industrial type things. But this is a little gym. The family and everybody that works here is really nice. The portions are really big and the food was really good. Everything we ordered everybody really liked. We did order carry out and picked it up the restaurant is small. There's a few tables and open kitchen area. But we felt very welcomed and everybody was really nice. My only complaint is I'm a big fan of hot and sour soup. The batch we got was rather Bland. But everything else is spectacular. It's a nice little place that's a great place to pick up dinner. Everybody that worked here was fantastic. It's a small place and if you blink you'll miss it.

We went with the family to this local restaurant. The decor was older, but the restaurant was very clean and has an extensive menu. There is a small bar and there were drink specials posted on the white board. We all tried different items in combos with egg rolls and soup. It was all good. My son really liked the twice-cooked pork; it was very tender. My General Tso's chicken was very nice and you can adjust the spice level to suit your taste. The wide noodles in another dish were excellent. The won ton soup was one of the better bowls I have had. Service was prompt, accurate and friendly and the prices were very reasonable. We will be back, and the lunch options are very reasonable and are served until 4 pm.

Whenever my wife and I are in East Toledo visiting her folks we usually go here to eat. There are many items to choose from: seafood, chicken, beef, pork, egg rolls, soup, etc. They offer white rice or fried rice. Also many dessert items including soft serve ice cream with toppings or cookies, jello, tapioca pudding, peaches, lychees, etc. You can also order from a menu, if you don't want the buffet. If you don't like Chinese, they have pizza! Everything is fresh and they have a brisk business.

We were regulars when the Golden Jade were on Navarre Ave. The Jade Express service has much to be desired. We always order fried wantons and were told they don't have this item any more. After showing them it on their order form, we were told again, rudely, that they don't have them. The food quality...not consistent. Sometimes food is dry - sauce missing from Almond chicken, no sweet and sour and then other days it's good and the order is perfect. After our last experience with the very rude service and being told they don't have items that we regular order, we won't return. This was the third time we experience bad service or food here and sorry, three strikes and you're out.
This was not a good experience. The lady before me ordered take out and the guy after me did....but I didn't. Yet my food was put in styrofoam containers and bagged up to go. When I pointed out the error, the lady handed me a tray and I had to unpack my own lunch. The food was drenched in sauce and had lots of rice (cheap) but very little of what I actually ordered. The appetizer was bland and greasy. So, I basically paid $9 for rice and sauce. I really really felt cheated. And it just wasn't good.
