My daughter and son-in-law suggested this restaurant because they had listed on-line a gluten free menu. Although the menu as small compared to the rest of the menu, I was actually able to order Kung Pao Chicken, prepared the way it should be and gluten free. It was great. I never understand why Chinese restaurants don't use gluten free soy sauce, but glad this one did. My son-in-law had sushi and enjoyed it and my daughter had General Tso's chicken and was well satisfied. Service was good. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere.

We dined here with friends a few weeks ago, and had an amazing time. The atmosphere is very Asian and nicely quiet. The staff are well informed about the menu and very friendly. We ordered the House Special Appetizers for two, but there was plenty enough for four. We then ordered a variety of dishes and had the best time trying everything. The best dish was the curried beef and the salmon special. We also tried the vegetarian Egg Roll with rice noodle and Saigon House Chicken. The portions were plentiful, and the staff did not rush us in eating. I liked the place sooo much that we got takeout the next week, and both picky eater adult children loved the dishes- though I thought Garlic Shrimp needed mnore garlic. all in all, a good experience. If you are looking for someplace different, eat here before going to one of those boring chain restaurants.

In place of the old Noodles and Co. comes Yong Kang Street. It offers some non-Americanized Chinese food in a very mainstream mall setting, though there is no access from inside the mall. Overall, we liked the food. It wasn't spectacular. Their version of soup dumpling was a little lacking in soup inside the dumpling shell. My wife ordered a dumpling noodle soup and enjoyed it. I like to add chili oil to flavor it, but she likes a lighter flavor. For my sons, they were tried a stir fried udon noodle with shrimp and ate well. They did offer dim sum (a rarity in DE), but you order with the server. Prices are a little on the high end. Service was generally attentive. The decor was pleasing and the walls were lined with mini-posters of well known Hong Kong films. We also didn't try the sushi, but I wish they would stick with just noodles and dumplings since sushi restaurants have become too commonplace.
