Went for dinner last night.nice place overlooking negombo lagoon.nice staff.excellent service.food is very tasty.good quality.you will find nice live music.overall very good place for dine in.recommended!There s one thing i must highlight though.reception staff and front gate staff seems to have no idea when the seafood club is closed.one time before we came to front gate and that person said it's open on a Sunday noon.then we went inside and learn it's closed.Another time we called and reception said it's open.but again we went all the way to find out its closed.finally in that day they told it's close d on Sundays for lunch.

Just went here for lunch. Rainy and low season so I was the only person. Had grilled seer fish ( king fish) 900 rupees and a fruit cocktail drink 350 rupees. Fish came with salad and fries. Was slow but this is because they cook it fresh. Lovely flavors on the fish. Enjoyed it and nice view.

I chose the Lobster due to its good reviews and went there to eat on my last evening in Sri Lanka. I was really disappointed! The location is quite bad - basically on the street. The restaurant seemed cozy at first, and it could become one, but now it's just way too tiny and impersonal. However, the food was below average and the overall atmosphere was poor. I do not recommend The Lobster.

Visited this place last Tuesday evening to have dinner with my family and one of our family friends. Most of the dishes I ordered declined as chief is new and he can not make them. Ultimately we eat what they can but not we wish. Totally disappointed with service and food. Dear Guest,Thank you for taking your valuable time to give us your thoughts from your recent stay with us. Went for Dinner with my family at Kreeptow and it was wonderful experience.Situated at a convenient location ads well.Service is excellent and Food is also great.Have a good variety.Food is tasty and fresh.Atmosphere is also good with Air conditioning and some back ground music.There s also a large TV screen if you want to watch while eating.Our little son also enjoyed with food and the place.Owner of the place is also very friendly and helpful,looking in to customer needs personally,which I thought was very good.I think they can improve by introducing more varieties of Desserts as only few choices were available.We have been to lot of restaurants in Negombo and this place is among the best.We'll certainly visit again and i can recommend this place to anyone.

This 'on the beach' restaurant is a little gem! We were stopped on the beach by Gayan who managed to get us in there for a beer and we never looked back!! His enthusiasm was electric as this was a new venture. He made us SO welcome that we stayed and had lunch there. This is a small family affair and goodness the food was amazing. We had devilled prawns and rice just for a snack and you knew you were eating fresh prawns. Gayan couldnt do enough for us, he made us so welcome. The owner arrived who by chance just happened to be our waiter at our hotel and was also a great cocktail maker!! We arranged to come back for an evening meal a couple of days later to have a sea food meal. What a great meal...my partner had an authentic Sri Lankan curry whilst I had a sea food platter of prawns, crayfish and crabs. The meals were perfectly cooked and delicious!! This place has tremendous food, a great atmosphere and is VERY reasonably priced. I cant recomend this place enough for great food on the beach. Iechyd da!!

Yesterday my girlfriend and I visited this place. We ordered a vegetable curry and a grilled whole snapper. The curry came out wonderful, good spices and amazing flavour. My food unfortunately didnât...the snapper was grilled however, the fish has been reheated most probably by chef mike (microwave). As Iâm a chef as well I can tell that the fish was blend and lost itâs texture as it crumbled apart. I told the waiter and he told me that itâs because of the type of fish...when I explained he kind of agreed but only apologized. I had to pay for my fish but I was not going to argue however I wouldnât go back as this spoiled the experience.

The worst place we have ever visited during our stay in Negombo. We had to wait over 30 minutes for the drinks the restaurant werenât even half full by that time I donât think it ever get full , what a dump ! uncomfortable chairs , shaky tables. Owner is very Rude ! atmosphere-0 Service- 0 NOT RECOMMENDED !!!
