For a chinese restaurant, the quality of the food was definitely better than most large chinese restaurants that can accommodate large parties. was here for a CNY gathers, mostly all the dishes were hot, ingredients used were good quality, the GM on duty was very attentive and really had control of the place despite the packed restaurant. one of the fish dishes was just so so but everything else from meat to veggies were great. give it a try! also had a lot of TVs which is a plus

We arrived in San Jose around 3 and were hungry but didn't really want a big meal. We happened upon QQ Noodle since we thought a nice bowl of noodle will hit the spot. Hit the spot, it did. The noodles were all hand made, Chinese style and they were delicious. We started with the tofu with preserved egg and that was really good, which got us excited for the noodles. Unfortunately, I can't exactly remember the name of my noodle but it was one of the two non-spicy ones and it was great. My sister had the spicy seafood noodle and she said it was wonderful too. Overall, service was good and food was good. More on the level of comfort food though. Will definitely visit again if I am in the neighborood.

Having eaten at another place in Milpitas Square just the day before, the bar was set pretty high for quality and service. Unfortunately, this place did not deliver in either category. Like the other restaurant I frequented, this one had no A/C - so I knew that could be expected; yet what I didn't expect was it to be stifling hot, even if it was a nice day outside and a relatively normal Milpitas-like day.While the place was full during a lunch rush, I felt the service was doing their best; although I did experience a gross negligence when attempting to pay for my check at the end of my meal. My waiter brought me my check, yet another woman (who was busing tables) wanted to take my check up to their cashier; and proceeded to tell me, by pointing to the line item where it showed me the sales tax, I couldn't pay by debit card. Knowing I could pay by either cash or debit/credit by observing a gentleman to my right pay w/cash (whom I had seen this lady in question take his cash, mind you) and the group of ladies to my left pay with plastic, I told the woman "no" and told her to take my card up to the cashier, since I wasn't clear if it was a language barrier or just a scam to get me to give her cash and not have my meal paid.In regards to the food, perhaps I should have ordered something other than sesame chicken off the Lunch Specials, but my entree came out a little too sweet and egg drop soup was bland and tasteless. If there were condiments on the table, they could've been used to spice weasel (bam!) things up a bit; but, alas, there weren't, so I finished my soup feeling a bit let down. At least there was enough of my entree and rice left to take back to the hotel to my wife, who seemed to rather enjoy it - which was shocking, since she's usually the more critical one of us when it comes to food.

This is a no-frills diner-style restaurant with a northern Chinese menu, lunch specials and reasonable prices. The spicy seafood noodle soup is the signature dish but the menu is vast and varied and there are photos on the wall and windows with most of the dishes so you can see what it looks like before you order. It gets crowded at lunch and they are open until 3:00AM.

Seafood City is filipino grocery store in the Milpitas Seasons Shopping Center. It sells a variety of filipino groceries as well as has a stellar fish department to buy whole fish.Inside the store is also a cafe called Grill City. We have enjoyed stopping there for bbq sticks and pancit. They are good for an inexpensive place to go. Service varies depending how busy the area is. They grill the bbq sticks at the store over a large grill area. There is seating in the Grill City area to enjoy one's meal.Today we were there to get fish for dinner though.

Won-Kee is in a large strip mall of Chinese Restaurants in Milpitas. The name Won-Kee made me think obviously of something being Wonky. The thought of the lost in translation aspect made me smile so I went in for lunch. It was simple with rice and a shrimp dish along with tea. It was also very tasty and they accept credit cards which a lot places in this complex do not.

Was here Friday evening for a large family gathering. Portions were very generous. Crab was outstanding: meat was sweet, tender and infused with flavor. Shrimp in mayonnaise a fusion creation and extremely tasty. One of our party was hungry for special order of eggs with tomatoes. Waiter cheerfully accommodated the request. Oh yeah the beef tenderloin with peppers and onions and Chinese mushrooms with greens were cooked to perfection.

Ready made meals make the rounds on carts and you order as they pass. Instant meal as it is right there right then. No menus. Very Chinese and I think I was the only westerner in the place. Food a bit too weird for me but some of it was ok

Excellent seafood served quickly & smilingly. Quality of food was great.Hot items served pretty hot & soups served by the waiteres.All items were delicious.However, one bone of contention: the waitress served the soup bowls & plates with her thumb in them. This was a little annoying.Hope the owner, if reading this review, can rectify this practice.

We went with 15 colleagues and it was good we made reservations upfront. It is a hectic place, different than any restaurant I ever been to. We were with some Chinese colleagues and they did the ordering, that helped a lot since the menus were not too clear. The dishes were refreshingly different and tasted mostly good. I liked the fried milk! And all dim sum were very nice.
