Medina (/məˈdiːnə/; Arabic: المدينة المنورة, al-Madīnah al-Munawwarah, "the radiant city"; or المدينة, al-Madīnah (Hejazi pronunciation: [almaˈdiːna]), "the city"), also transliterated as Madīnah, is a city in the Hejaz region of the Arabian Peninsula and administrative headquarters of the Al-Madinah Region of Saudi Arabia. I went to the Al Noor Mall location tonight for dinner with a friend. There are a few things to consider upfront before we get to the food: If you are a tourist here and you are unaccustomed to the business hours surrounding prayer times or the difference between the "family section" and the "singles section", be prepared. At the Al Noor location, the "singles section" is located outside the restaurant and right next to the play land/amusement park. The noise level was not deafening, but it was certainly not easy to have a normal conversation. Thus, I would recommend against this location if you are actually trying to have any conversation other than idle chit-chat.The food was really good...I would give it 3.7 stars out of 5. It wasn't excellent, but it was tasty and visually attractive. I would also give high marks to the variety on the menu: Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, and Sushi...may have even been some Dim Sum on there. The service was friendly and attentive and the order arrived relatively quickly. The place I have to knock points off was on the tempura-fried sushi that came on the 16-piece sushi platter. It was obviously not freshly prepared, which kind of killed any potential praise for that dish. Otherwise, the Dragon Roll was one of the more delicious versions of that dish that I have ever had, and the Cashew Chicken was equally good. It was also a little strange that no rice came with the Cashew Chicken, but that is simply splitting hairs. Overall, I would say that it was good. I recommend against ordering anything tempura, especially during standard meal hours. Otherwise, if you are at Al Noor Mall, it is likely the best meal you will find, apart from fast food.

Well , it is fine most of the times, consistency is an issue with regards to the quality and quantity , they tend to use and put more vegetable instead of shrimps , chicken or meat . rice is ok , noodles are yummy.

I was a little skeptical before going as I was trying this restaurant for the first time and that too, on a Friday night when customer flow is at a mammoth proportion and service standards usually plunge drastically. It has a seating arrangement on the ground floor and 1st floor with cabins and sliding doors. Me and my family sat on the first floor. Although, the ambiance was nice but they had covered their windows on the first floor with black tape which really surprised me. I would have loved the view outside, any day. We ordered 4-5 items from the menu (price is a little high as compared to other asian cuisines around the city). The food arrived in record time and the amount was decent and proportionate to the price. The only thing that I did not find up to the standard was "Biryani rice" which were served cold and bland. I complained about it to the manager. For dessert, we ordered the lava cake which was mouthwatering. All in all, I would definitely go there again and will recommend others to try it out.
