I went with a group of colleagues. I had the veggie roll and sweet potato roll and both were decent. The salad 'bar' was a disappointment. The salad dressing was a bit too orange/citrusy for my tastes. I can't say I have an urge to revisit anytime soon.

Food was good, prices were decent. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Service was good. But I went around 8 pm, so it was probably after their peak dinner hour.

I just finished several dishes that I ordered from New Beijing House and I am very disappointed. I placed my order online which was convenient and easy and the ordering process even allowed me to adjust the spiciness of the "HOT" dishes I ordered. I request that the Chicken w/Garlic Sauce be prepared with medium heat and the Hot and Spicy Shredded Chicken and Szechuan Beef be prepared hot. None of these dishes have even a hint of heat and are all fairly flavorless. The best of the bunch is the Hot and Spicy Shredded Chicken but it is only mediocre at best. Now believe me, I am not expecting culinary greatness form a strip mall Chinese (American) joint but I have had much much better many many times. We also ordered Szechuan Beef that had some of the toughest and most rubbery "beef" I have ever experienced. Perhaps the most poorly executed dish however was the Wonton with Hot Spicy Sauce. When I ordered these I envisioned receiving crispy wontons with a side of Hot Spicy Sauce for dipping. What I received was a styrofoam clamshell container full of wontons that had been covered in the sauce. The sauce was actually quite tasty but only slightly hot and spicy but serving the wontons this way caused them to become soggy and chewy. Why would a kitchen even think this is a good idea? The Pork Fried Rice was fine and of your average variety. I'm not going into great detail with each dish because I feel that the majority of us know what comes in these dishes and there were surely no exciting twists in these dishes to bother mentioning. Very disappointing. Look elsewhere. In addition, when you walk in this place it just seems "odd" and there is a very strong smell of burnt oil permeating the establishment. Also, the name of this restaurant is New Beijing House. The name is wrong o both Trip Advisor and Yelp. Fishy?

Although mainly a take out operation we ate in on Tuesday, March 3. Just a half dozen or so tables but the restaurant and rest rooms are clean and comfortable. Lunch specials are served with soup and white or fried rice. Large portions served piping hot. Friendly service. This was our first time here, but it certainly will not be the last.
We were very loyal China May fans for 10 years, but when they were taken over by new management a year ago, the quality noticeably dropped. Bland soups, dried out entrees, smaller portions, etc., drove us elsewhere. We gave Best Food a try and have been happy ever since. Boneless spare rib combo is fantastic, as is their hot and sour soup which is made to order. All the staples like General Chicken, lo mein, mu shu, chicken and broccoli are very good. Friendly service and large portions too.

Chinese buffet, I believe it opened in 2011.
My son and I went with another family, and we enjoyed it. I usually dislike buffets because they become unappetizing after so many people go through the food (and cough on it, etc).. But we went early, and were several of the first people to get food. The Chinese dishes were very good. I wish this place were closer to where we live. I had all the usual stuff that's bad for me -- pork egg roll, spring roll, battered chicken (for sweet and sour, without the sauce). All very good. They also had some plain bok choy, one of my favorite veggies -- delicious! The lo mein was yummy. They also have non-Asian food, which is interesting. I tasted the "beef pie" -- something I find hard to resist, and it was tasty. My son kept going back for sushi -- California rolls -- I didn't try them, but he said they were very good. One more thing -- they had those steamed buns that you can usually only get at dim sums. Inside it was sweet red bean paste, and it was a wonderful surprise. Overall, a great place for a buffet!

We were down the shore for the weekend and doing some shopping in Mays Landing. It was dinner time and we wanted some quick Chinese food and we came upon Best Food in Town II Chinese restaurant. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall. We went inside and it was very clean in the store which was a very good sign. The prices on the menu were very reasonable and we ordered a shrimp egg roll, Chicken Chow Mein with brown rice, and General Tso's Chicken with white rice.Soda from the soda cooler was about a one dollar a can.We decided to eat our food inside instead of doing take out. Our food was brought to our table and it was piping hot and fresh. The General Tso's was excellent. The Chicken Chow Mein was good, but was a bit bland... it could have used some black pepper and/or garlic. The brown rice was a bit dry, but still good. Both the amount of white and brown rice sides were on the skimpy side and we could have used a bit more to mix in with our meal. The shrimp egg roll was a big disappoint... it was VERY dry and possibly over fried. Our total bill was a bit under $20.If you need Chinese take out and want quick Chinese food, I would recommend this restaurant. We will be back again if we are hungry for a quick Chinese meal.
