Find out what Chinese restaurants to try in Lewiston. A city steeped in history, Lewiston traces its beginnings to the Lewis and Clark Expedition. In 1805, the famed explorer team came to the confluence of the Clearwater and Snake rivers, now the site of twin cities Lewiston, Idaho, and Clarkston, Washington. Pick any weekend of the year for your stay: Lewiston has a uniquely dry, temperate climate, ideal for year-round recreational activities. Whitewater rafting, kayaking, swimming, fishing, tubing, canoeing and jet boating opportunities are plentiful - and that's only the water sports. Landlubbers can golf, camp, hike, jog and bicycle. For the truly adventurous, a trip to Hells Canyon, the deepest canyon in North America, is a must. Those who venture into the gorge, via raft or jet boat, will discover 2,500-year-old Native American carvings on the canyon walls. Try your hand at indoor risk with a visit to the Clearwater River Casino. Whether braving the rapids or browsing through pioneer artifacts in the city's museums, you're sure to get a taste of the indomitable spirit of the early American settlers.

This is a very large buffet. Could have more Chinese food, but nice selection of western items for those not preferring Chinese. Has a custom "Mongolian" stir fry, where you pick the ingredients. Maybe the best offering on the buffet. It is at the very back, so may have to look for it, but worth the effort. The largest desert selection I've ever seen in a Chinese or most Buffets. Steamer tables keep food hot, staff replace items regularly. But occasionally some items stay too long. Keeping steamed rice at peak in a buffet is very difficult, tend to dry out at government required temperatures. Most preparations of Chinese are good to very good. Last visit especially liked the pot stickers. Reasonable lunch prices and a good senior discount.
Good price on the steak however I went here to eat Chinese food not streak, I ordered the "big boy" and received a huge plate of food. food was hot and I was hungry . Soup(chicken)was good as was the fried shrimp but everything else was average to below average. the noodles had a "taste" that wasn't appealing as did the orange chicken. I also had some fried chicken with some sort of sauce on it which I pulled away and only ate the chicken. very disappointed thinking I should've had the steak. would've been better off going to taco bell or Wendy's than this restaurant. will not go here again and believe it or not this place was recommended to me over others. if this is the best Lewiston has to offer then how bad are the others? also the "grandmother" waitress never came around to check on me but the place was crowed( me, 3 others in a booth, they left and an older couple came in-yes sarcasm). terrible service.

While staying in Clarkston, we ordered Chinese from Bamboo Gardens from our hotel room. It took my husband many times to repeat our order over the phone. Then, it took over an hour to receive our order, in which the restaurant was only 0.5 miles away. Before we received our order the restaurant called us back to confirm our card number again. Once we finally got our food, we were disappointed. The food was on the verge of cold, and not that great. We would not recommend this as good Chinese food. We would not order here again if we were in the area.

My girlfriends and I frequent this restaurant for birthday lunches. We have been eating here for about three or four years and it is always excellent food. We always order several different entrees and share them and we have never had a bad dish. The staff is absolutely wonderful as well. Highly recommend this restaurant.
