The Rising Bun is a fresh take on Asian food--chef-crafted, made-to-order dishes that are the "greatest hits" of Asian cuisine under one roof--steamed buns, poke, ramen, salads, and desserts--served in a hip & social atmosphere.
My husband loves authentic baozi from mainland China, and this version is way better! The steamed buns are used like a flatbread with filling sandwiched inside. The flavor combinations and ingredients are fabulous. Fun presentation, pleasant and comfortable atmosphere. We would definitely recommend this great new restaurant!
first normally I am not a fan of this type of food however my son said try it and I was very pleasantly surprised , it is set up cafeteria style but you could see the cook preparing the food fresh constantly. and yes it was quite good. nothing like some of the stuff we get in RCSD. I would recommend it. the only draw back was a small seating area inside ( it was in the 90s outside) and they could have used some more help as the dining area was not kept clean , at least not up to my wifes standards.
I went here just before lunch time. Everything was hot and fresh. I couldn't help but get the three entree with general tso's chicken sesame and orange chicken. Their wantons are also really good. I always come when in the area. But I think it is best to come during the busy times to get the freshest food.

Perhaps my memory of Chinese food is tainted by rose colored glasses in the rear view mirror. Or, maybe the Utah folks just like their food different and I graduated. China Isle us actually closer to what I like than any other place Iâve been but cleanliness of the restaurant, bland food except really hot pepper varieties, and higher expectations push me to a 2 but out of kindness I suppose itâs a 3.

We had the lettuce wrap and also crispy beef. It's the third time we've ordered the beef and it's the reason we keep coming back here. Lettuce wrap was ok. On previous trip we got orange chicken and it was average at best. But try the crispy beef. It's different than I've ever had and very good.

Stopped in for lunch. Ordered chicken egg roll, wonton soup and TemptAsian Orange Chicken and fried rice. Waited 15 minutes for soup to arrive, the main course and egg roll arrived 6 minutes later. While the food tastes slightly less greasy, I wouldnât put the above-average price above the very average flavor. Breading was too thick on the chicken. The orange sauce was underwhelming. Fried rice was very bland. Chicken egg roll was decent, and wonton soup was pretty standard. So while this place appears to be more fancy and taste better than, letâs say, Rice Garden or Panda Express, itâs not worth the extra $$, or the wait.
