Very small establishment next to the Petaling Street main entrance. There are limited seats at this restaurant, be warned that if you go during peak hours you might get a shabby seat at the back next to the dishwashing area. Surprisingly, this wasn't our favourite beef noodle restaurant that we tried in KL. The prices here were slightly higher than average for these local style restaurants, with no improvement of service or cleanliness. I was served the wrong dish and couldn't do much about it because of the language barrier. The noodle soup is tasty, but like the title says, not the best we've tried. I wouldn't go back, but if you're not picky, why not give it a try. *the beef noodle restaurant we liked better is called Soong Kee's Beef Ball Noodles*

So I have to be honest - I succumbed to their decadent sales pitch, âThe elegant and distinctive aroma and taste of champagne is infused into the fine snow skin and luscious lotus paste making each mooncake, most memorable for the palateâ. Together with numerous positive reviews on food blogs and social media, the temptation became irresistible. Seriously; with that description and at RM15.90 to RM21.20 a pop, the expectation is undoubtedly super high. Instead of being ambrosial, the (current) reality is disappointingly underwhelming! I remembered it was nothing like that before - that the aroma of the Moët & Chandon champagne would subtly waft up as you bit into it. No longer. Actually the overall quality is still high but it doesnât live up to the hype at all. In fact the three flavours were indistinguishable. How very sad. I wouldnât be too surprised if they had tampered with the original recipe. All to improve the bottom line, I suppose. But as discerning consumers, we need to call a spade a spade. Instead of being memorable, Iâll remember this as a complete rip-off. Sorry Ritz-Carlton, you got to do better than this!

Experience a culinary journey that tempts your palate with a tantalizing array of traditional regional Chinese delicacies, all artfully served in a stunning modern space filled with natural light.
I have no words except praises for this place.Let's start off with the food. I do not know much about Chinese/Cantonese dishes but after having a taste of the dishes here, I came to realised this isn't just some normal Chinese/Cantonese cuisine. This is God, speaking to us through food. Such freshness, such succulent meats and a good note to end with desserts. Our hearts were filled with joy. Kudos to the chefs team for heightening that level of food experience!Next, the service. Service from reservation up till dessert was impeccable. Elin, Joanne and Celine was being super accomodating and patient whilst taking my reservation. I could actually "hear" their smile through the phone conversation. Phyllis, Jia Ying and Shelly were absolute professionals! From menu presentation to recommendations, to serving and connections, my friends and I were well taken care of. Nothing was too much trouble for them. These are the people that you know would go the distance for you.Lastly, the ambience. I cannot emphasize how authentic the whole atmostphere is here. If you're looking to dine in a really Chinese setting with a twist of modern, look nowhere else because this is it! This place would pass with flying colours for authencity because this is legit!Overall, my friends and I had a great time! Thank you for the memories, Yun House!Dear decipher2118, Thank you for your positive feedback on the restaurant. We are delighted to read that our associates were able to assist you and create a memorable dining experience. The legacy never ends at Din Tai Fung. Discover more about us. Din Tai Fung's Xiao Long Bao, the iconic mouth-watering soup dumpling filled with meat and piping hot soup is making its waves to the world ! Welcome to Din Tai Fung, where a memorable dining
Din Tai Fung is my favorite restaurant in Asia - the food is fast and delicious. So glad it is a chain so I can get my dim sum fix anywhere I travel. After being introduced to it by a local in Singapore in early 2017, Iâve now been to 4 different ones (KL, Bangkok, California, Singapore). On this business trip ... we went 3 times in a 7 day period (Monday, Tuesday, Sunday)! I may need an intervention. Each time we tried something different and loved just about everything we got. Each restaurant follows the same basic process â you mark the paper order sheet with how many you want of each item, a waiter stops by and verifies it (letting you know if you need to substitute anything, or letting you know that something is served cold and not hot), and then submits your order. Food items come out as they become available. This means there is no particular order as to when you will receive something ... and a bunch of items may arrive at the same time. This is a great restaurant to go with others so you can sample a wide variety of food. The chopsticks, utensils, napkins, and soup bowls are all on the table (in or on a little box) â you just need to distribute them. During our 3 visits, we tried: Cucumber (this is one of our favorite dishes ... but they rarely have it available), XLB (xiao long bao / soup dumplings - we tried the Pork, Truffle, and Chocolate ones - our favorite was the pork (and chocolate if youâre looking for dessert), but it was fun to try the more expensive Truffle for the first time), Hot & Sour Soup (Regular and with Shrimp), Mayo Prawn (only dish we would not get again), Fragrant Pork, Shrimp Wonton Beef Soup, Pork Vegetable Wonton Noodle Soup, Spring Rolls, Spicy Shrimp Wonton, Dry Vegetable WT, Sweet & Sour Prawn, Spinach Garlic (Iâm not a cooked spinach person but my colleagues enjoyed it), and 3 Lemongrass drinks - every time. We typically ordered 6 - 8 items each time and that adequately served the 3 of us. Not sure how tips work here. Iâve gotten so used to the 10% service charge being automatically added at other restaurants, I didnât notice until just now that the only add-on is the 6% Service Tax. Since we didnât have any local currency for the tip jar, I guess we stiffed them (oops). In the U.S., tips are typically just written in on the charge card receipt. Speaking of the service ... it was good. Canât wait to return!

We were visiting KL and I reserved here for my birthday dinner. It was wonderful. We had the Peking duck with pancakes, with the leftover duck made into a noodle dish, and a fabulous mushroom and vegetable dish. Service was perfect and attentive. Serving sizes were large so unfortunately we didn't have room for dessert. Jasmine tea was poured throughout the meal, and we thoroughly enjoyed everything. The waiter came over after we finished with a tasty dessert with a candle for my birthday...very nice and appreciated. Prices were reasonable for such an elegant place.

At Latest Recipe, diners can indulge in popular dishes that are prepared 'a la minute' (which means 'in a minute' literally) with personalised and individual servings of Malay, Indian, Chinese, Japanese and Western delights. Just watching the chefs in act
You can visit this place just for the ambience. It is really amazing. A huge choice of food of various cuisines. We were vegetarians, still we had enough to eat. Excellent service by the staff. The Indian chef there is a bit grumpy, he needs an attitude change, twice seen him behaving the same way, but having said that the pasta he made was very tasty. There is Indian vegetarian food also. The best part is the deserts, huge selection with a chocolate fountain, frozen yogurt with so many toppings, for those who love deserts you must visit. Was my wife's birthday and they wished her and gave a small cake also. Check for credit card offers or offers through Fave app where you can get 40 to 45% on the listed price which is ridiculously high. Would like to visit againDear harishbala, Warmest greetings and thank you for sharing your experience with us. It has been a pleasure to have you here, and we are delighted that you enjoyed the ambiance and food served, especially desserts and pasta! Having said that, we have noted on your recommendations for future improvements. We look forward to welcoming you back to Latest Recipe again soon!Best regards,Michael DelargyGeneral Manager

Chynna serves delicate and subtle modern Cantonese cuisine with a focus of healthy eating and an open dim sum kitchen set in Shanghai Tang style grandeur. Location: Level 5
The staff really don't know how to serve customers politely. No smile on their faces. The food is not as good as any ordinary Chinese restaurants outside. We will not go there again. They should learn from the service provided in any restaurants in YTL hotels and resorts. Dear ellietan2019,Allow me to extend my apologies for the shortcoming on your dining experience at Chynna.Your constructive feedback means a lot to us as it allow us continue providing the best service to our guest. Please be assured that, I have cascaded your feedback to our team and work closely with the team for better improvement. Introducing Opium KL! Established on 12th July 2014, this unique outlet focuses on Asian Oriental delights with a twist; such as Phoenix Dumpling, Fern Leaf Salad, Crispy Duck Noodles, Wagyu Beef Rendang, and the signature Beef Brisket & Tendon Stew just
We loved our meal at Opium. It is a little pricey for Malaysia but it was very good food and would happily pay twice what we paid in the U.K. It is a mix of Malaysian style with modern twist on it. The restaurant had a nice ambiance with a lady playing music and nice lighting. Our food was delicious and the service was great. Would definitely recommend. We had 4 beers, 2 mains and 2 starters for around 200rm. Hi WorkAroundTheWorld, it's such a pleasure serving you throughout the whole dining experience! Glad you had a good time here with the food, music and ambience that we have delivered just for our lovely diner's pleasure. Do come by when you're back in Kuala Lumpur again! Thank you for the lovely recommendation. :)
