Good value, extensive menu, good portions, fresh food and good value. Nothing special about the venue (take the stairs up from the street), but it's clean with a family feel and the staff are helpful and attentive and you'll be in an out in thirty minutes if you desire. It's not an Halal restaurant and serves plenty of pork dishes, so bear that in mind if you're bringing or inviting guests. Great for family dining and/or larger groups as the tables sit 6 people comfortably.Careful visiting here if you've food allergies, since many of the dishes serve deep fried (breaded) meat/seafood and/or are served with a soy sauce, so tricky finding dishes for gluten intolerance and there are nuts in the kitchen. If you park outside you're supposed to pay, but if you don't then you might get a ticket which you need to pay at the booth. The cost of the ticket probably warrants not buying a ticket and taking the chance, but if you have a ticket waiting on the window then definitely pay it!I'll certainly be back!
Top 4 Indian food in Kuala Belait, Belait District, Brunei Darussalam
A return to Brunei after 15 years has seen some changes, but Jolene’s remains. A venture up the stairs, which are perhaps not that welcoming, reveals the restaurant on the first floor. We were greeted by a team of staff very smartly presented in their outfits. Decor and style of the room had not really changed, but it was clean and tidy. Reservations not always necessary, we found ourselves on one of three tables occupied. We ordered way too much! And we struggled to eat it all, but the flavours were superb, and have to say Jolene’s has to be my favourite Chinese restaurant in Kuala Belait.Staff were very friendly and service was just right. We just need to find time to get back there again.
Where to eat Japanese food in Kuala Belait: The Best Restaurants and Bars
A reasonable prices, relaxable, air condition restaurant
There are two Wing soon branches; this one is in Wisma Yakin. There is a significant difference between the two, and I much prefer the other branch. The food here is decent, sometimes tasteless, same goes to the drinks. Flavours aren't consistent so don't expect good food everytime you come here. The dim sum is good and better than other Chinese restaurants in KB town.
