We have been driving by this restaurant and always wanted to try this place. We finally dropped by for lunch on a weekday. The service was prompt and courteous. The menu is mostly dumplings - either steamed or fried, there is a small offering of noodles and dishes like General Tao chicken. We tried the steamed dumplings - chicken and cabbage and the fried ones - pork, shrimp and leeks. They were both very good. We also tried the har how, they were dim sum quality. My son preferred the fried ones, me, too. But he did appreciate how juicy the steamed ones were. I would return to try the other items on the menu.

Went on a Friday night and had the all you can eat option. Besides the Hunan dumplings and the hot and sour soup, everything else was just OK, nothing memorable, no wow. Service was particularly "blah" with the waitress never cracking a smile, never seemed friendly or hospitable. A lot of very heavily breaded fried foods, not vibrant and fresh. Decor very bland. There are so many more exciting places in the West Island!

We often pick up our favorite take out selections which include: General Tao chicken, Szechuan spicy beef, crispy spinach chicken, orange beef, Hunan dumplings, steamed rice, steamed vegetables, and Hunan beef, to name a few. We always enjoy these tasty selections. Although there are a few tables to dine-in, most are satisfied take-out customers. Can't wait for our next time!

Su is the owner/patriarch of family operated Restaurant Osaka. He is a warm and cheerful host with suggestions for your culinary expedition done your way.My daughter suggested Osaka saying "Give it a try - it's very good!". We picked up Chinese dinner for 4 plus 2 crab meat pizza's - my daughter's favourite. Wow! We all loved it and noticed we felt just as good 1 hour later.C63 C66 C67 C72 C75 really did it for us - GREAT dinner!

My son loves dumplings and we have tried many places. Someone posted photos from his visit here recently. Glad that we tried this place. It is close to home and the dumplings are affordable for the quantity. The menu is limited to dumplings and skewers. We started with some skewers. The beef and porc skewers were really delicious.We tried the steamed chicken and mushroom dumplings. They were good, good ratio of Shitake mushroom to chicken. I liked the fried ones the best. The pork, shrimp and leek ones were really tasty. The table has three sauces (vinegar, soy sauce and chilli). The service was prompt courteous. There are tables, room for about 30 people. They seem to do brisk take-out business. I would recommend this place.

This restaurant is close to St-Charles boulevard. Easy parking.The portions are quite large.I recommend that you order 2-3 dishes for up to 4 persons. Doggy bags are provided.Fresh vegetables and carefully prepared presentations.large menu selections that will please everyone.You can take out your meals.The owner- operator is polite and welcoming.The soups are excellent and are recommended.
