Discover Restaurants offering the best Chinese food in Kigali, Kigali Province, Rwanda. Inhabited since the 11th-century, what is now Kigali has been the home of Twas, Tutsis and Hutus. The city sits on a series of verdant ridges and lush valleys, and has a Muslim Quarter and a bustling market. Rwanda's capital is the site of battles that left over a million, mostly Tutsi and moderate Hutus, dead. Kigali Memorial Centre is a permanent memorial to 1994's Genocide, built on a mass grave where 250,000 are buried. Kigali City Tour Bus offers an excellent introduction to this now safe, friendly city.

I love this place quiet yet elegant. Truely Chinese food that I have been waiting for in kigali. We received a very professional service from our waiter who was obviously well trained on recommending the menu. The view is to die for overlooking the city

Nice atmosphere--except when a gaggle of kids ran through the restaurant, yelling and screaming and squealing (and were subsequently shushed and chased off by the wait staff), big portions, fair prices (4,500 RFW for veggie fried rice, for example), and excellent service (murakoze, Nerber).Would eat here again and would recommend.

Nice ambience (open-air seating, as you'll find quite a lot of in Kigali), fantastic service (super friendly, helpful server who made great food recommendations), big portions, reasonable prices (1,500 RFW for a big portion of garlic naan, for example, and around 6,000 RWF for veggie mains), and tasty dishes. Highly recommend and would eat there again.

Kigali has many Indian restaurants, and I would rank this one at the bottom. Indian chef has wonderful ambiance, and I enjoyed the service. However, the soups were not even Indian (they were Chinese), the naan was burnt, and the food did not taste authentically Indian. Compared to other Indian restaurants at the same price, I would say go somewhere else.

I really enjoyed myself at Soy. When you come inside you are greeted with a smile. The owners are very friendly and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. The colours in their restaurant are delightful. Must visit when in Kigali. Definitely my favourite so far.

We were tired from the long travel and looked for a good restaurant to have dinner and found this Bamboo Rooftop restaurant. The setting is nice and spacious.I'm probably exhausted I did not bother to see if the view outside was breathtaking being on the rooftop. We dined on Saturday evening and there's a live band playing. They serve good chinese dishes though I didn't like much the quality of the tofu. The serving size is more than enough for one person so be careful when ordering.

Really cool place to have a meal. Great atmosphere and vibe in the place. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the menu (both Chinese and Indian cuisine) were huge and well varied. Nobody struggled to find something and I think everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal and there were around 12 of us dining. Prices are also very reasonable. The main let down was having to wait for over 30 mins on a bill or payment being taken. We got to the stage where we were close to walking our because we had asked so many times and nothing was done to bring the bill over so that was a bit disappointing. Overall this is a great place to have a nice authentic, Asian meal and I would recommend and return but bare in mind the long wait for service. Dear Patron,Thanks for the feedback on our food and service, reviews like this helps us to reflect on the areas which we need to focus and improve on. We shall look forward to your next visit & get our act right henceforth. We are very happy to know that you liked our food.Big Thanks from Zen Oriental Cuisine Staff & Management.
