I was disappointed. My spring rolls were mostly shell and not fully cooked in the middle. The kung pao chicken was with dark meat, didn't seem like any version of kung pao chicken I've ever had. Doubt I'd go backour spring rolls is all vegetable, there is no way to do it fully cooked, well done?kung pao chicken with dark meat? we have been here five years, we do not have chicken dark meat in stock, we never use chicken dark meat! Mr. or Ms. benfran02; do you know how identify breast white meat from dark meat? I have no idea where you had any version? of kung pao chicken before, this is a very irresponsible conduct, base on your incorrect opinion. my restaurant has a policy from first opening day; if you don't like any of our meal item, simply just tell your server, we will not collect any money from customerplease correct your review! or do call us get this straight, I should refund your money and apologize for not even has a chance to take your instruction, to prepare in your version of cooking. p.s. please don't hide in the dark, ruin our restaurant reputation, what's good for you?

This long time Northgate Chinese eatery offers several things consistently: friendly service (same staff for many years), fast service (my meal was ready in less than 10 minutes), affordable prices ($6.50 lunch special), and large portion sizes (I was full eating half my meal). I ordered the daily special: sweet and sour shrimp, pork chow mein and pork fried rice. Honestly, the food is right down the middle in terms of Americanized Chinese cuisine. The flavors are familiar and safe - this is probably Salemâs most popular Chinese among seniors. Not a lot has changed here in decades and thereâs something to be said for knowing what you will experience.

Not the place you are likely to pick but if don't you are missing out. Between a service station and a empty lot it looks forlorn, the Lotto sign doesn't help. Inside things are not a lot better but we're here for the food not the decor. Service is quick, pleasant and familiar. Tea and water arrived before we got settled in. The lunch menu was classic, one from box one and one from box two with plenty of options. All of our selections were excellent. Portions were large enough so that at least one more meal came home with us. If you are hungry and the food is the most important part of the meal Yan Yan Chinese Cuisine should be on your short list.

I'm always leery of a restaurant that serves several types of food like Italian and Mexican. Don't know why, it's just a thing for me. The place feels old, like it hasn't been updated since it opened. Waitress seemed like she didn't want to be there, but not rude. Food was very blah. I'll skip this place on my next trip

While I did not truly expect gourmet food from a fast food restaurant, Panda Express could have done better than this. The food was served in small portions and we had difficulty getting our order across to the staff. Most importantly, though, the food was just straight up awful. It seemed reasonably fresh, but just had no flavor. Go somewhere else for a quick meal.

We have been really disappointed lately with the quality of local Chinese fare. I didn't pay attention to Chen's until we joined the gym next door..yes, you can work out and then grab dinner you can feel good about! Awesome combo!! The Happy Family was full of fresh veggies along with generous portions of all my favorites. The dining area was very clean and staff welcoming. I encourage my neighbors to support local resteraunts, and these folks will reward you with a great meal. They Deliver Too!

Even with the shortcomings, we eat here several times a month. The food is always good, and a great value, but the service can be very slow as they focus on drive thru and take out long before those seated inside. The worst part is that they seldom clean off the tables until they actually need them, so you are eating around and staring at dirty tables. And don't sit in the back room. They forget you are there and you have to go get them if you need anything.
