Things to do in Kaneohe
Average price and service and good food. Located in food court of Windward Mall, has 2 different types of fried rice and noodles, several entree choices and fountain and canned sodas.
We always stop here when we go to the windward side. There are a few tables inside, but we always get 'to go' and head up to our favourite beach parks to have an impromptu picnic. I know, it isn't very sanitary from a Department of Health perspective, but we've never had any ill effects! This restaurant specialises in pork dishes, but has a full, diverse menu. Only one word needed to describe their Sweet & Sour pork, or their 'Choice Plate'. YUM! This is in the Temple Valley Shopping Center across the street from the 'Valley of the Temples' site. By the way, if you don't like Chinese food, there is also a Subway, a McDonalds, a Sushi place and a Ko'olau Drive Inn in the same Center! There's also a supermarket for additional picnic snacks! You can't go far on O'ahu without being 'surrounded' by eateries! Enjoy!
Yes, I know, it's a strip mall restaurant with plastic chairs and a buffet. But, the food is dependably fresh and tasty and it's a price performer. The mixed vegetables with orange chicken and Beijing Beef are my favorites; total cost including drink, $10. For good, fast, tasty food at a reasonable price, Panda Express is my favorite.

My family has been coming to this restaurant for over 30 years. We have celebrated countless birthdays and holidays here, sitting at the large round tables. There are no bad items on the menu. The restaurant is somewhat small, is always clean, neat, painted and with clean bathrooms. As a matter of correction to a nasty poster, the bathrooms are always clean, stocked with toilet paper and paper towels, no leaky faucets or dirty floors ever, Well-lit, not scary at all. well-ventilated dining room in the summer and comfortably heated in colder months, This restaurant has its own commercial generator, which is a God-send for so many local families who are left w/o electricity during the big pacific storms that swing in close to Oahu--this restaurant is one of the few that is always open and equipped to feed hungry Kaneohe residents a freshly-prepared tasty meal...we know because we have done this numerous times. Some dishes you should try: House fried rice, Kun Pau Chicken, seafood, any of the sizzling platters, soft gaugee mein w/vegetables, house egg fu yung, kau yuk with bun, beef tomato,--I could go on and on. Everything is good!. Take out is ready when you arrive, seldom have to wait, and if you do, the wait is short. Very Friendly and fast waitresses, clean, neat dining room, and fast times for food arrival at your table. Ample parking, wheel-chair accessible. Prices from $ to $$,
Love this place. Whether it be for take out for parties and gatherings, making a plate just for yourself is always satisfying. Love the chow mein, Orange Chicken, Beef Broccoli and Kung Pao Chicken. Always made the same everytime, so you are never disappointed. This is one place that makes you keep coming back for more.
Adela's Country Eatery, in Kaneohe Hawaii, serves great local food from Hawaii farms.
When you think of Kaneohe, you think of beautiful beaches, warm tropical breezes and a laid back beach atmosphere. But in the center of it all is Adelaâs Country Eatery. Established in April 2019, Adela has been creating fresh made noodles every morning. But if they run out of noodles... they close! So come early and order your favorite! Adela trained in Okinawa, Japan and the Philippines to perfect these dishes! Sheâs always testing different types of noodles and ingredients, so come by often to try them all out!The best has got to be the marunggay and the Ube noodles. The bread fruit noodles is also worth the wait! All the dishes are fresh cooked in the back of the open kitchen! Check this place out and say hi to Millie in the front!

I live nearby and when I am in the mood for Chinese food I always choose Pah Ke. They are fast, veggies are fresh and every item is tasty. I donât eat meat and they are careful to not use any animal broths or sauces in my food and can still make it tasty. Iâve had Chinese at other places that when you ask for no broths, the food comes out steamed in just water with no seasoning. This place is a great family restaurant where you are greeted with a friendly smile and aloha all the way through.
