We had reservations for dinner prior to seeing a concert at Foxwoods. We were seated immediately at a great table in a smaller side room. The service was very good. Drinks came quickly. The room was pretty dark so it may it a bit hard to read the menu, but otherwise liked the decor a lot. We ordered a variety of apps and sushi along with Pork Fried Rice to share amongst the 3 of us. The waiter talked us out of 3 servings of rice, and glad he did as they are huge. We didnât finish the two. Sushi was good. The Lettuce Wraps were very good however, the carrots were turned into long pieces Makin it difficult to put them on, Looked good though. Overall we all really liked Red Lantern and thought the prices were reasonable, especially inside a casino.Hi there,Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback! We tried all the Chinese take out places in Willimantic but we now drive a little further to China Garden. We love their food. It is never over cooked and the vegetables always taste fresh.

I was disappointed in this Chinese restaurants. I ordered chicken with Chinese vegetables the Chinese vegetables consisted of tons of celery a few carrots and I had the ask for bean sprouts and they put about four of them in my order.I will not be going back to this restaurant. Maybe Iâm wrong but I thought Chinese vegetables consisted of a lot more vegetables like beans sprouts ,snow peas, Chessnut ,small corn etc. and the owners was not friendly and neither was the person who took the order on the phone.

For 10 years while visiting my children in several places in this area I have tried many Chinese restaurants and this is the tops. I would compare their cooking to the top places in either NY or Bostonâs Chinatown The egg rolls are not greasy, the lo-Mien is perfectly cooked, and as a lover of Szechuan cooking I found the heat level better than most. I also have to say that their hot & sour soup is the best I have had a any wear.

I HIGHLY suggest the Szechuan Wontons. It is a "special" there and are consistently amazing. They are extremely easy to deal with on the phone so you can place your order before you start driving. I used to always just order delivery from other places because this is only take out but after going here a couple times and having good food of all different items ordered, i will make that extra trip out of the house. It is worth it!Pros:Very reasonably priced and if you ask they can give you a total on the phoneTasty food without the mystery of "what is it that i am eating?"Cons: One table in the place meant basically just to sit and wait for the food to be done if you didn't order ahead. Pretty strictly take out. I wouldn't suggest you try to eat there. Cramped inside.

The menu offers all the traditional Chinese food and a large assortment of pan-Asian foods.. They have sushi rolls and yaki udon noodle dishes that we were shocked by-- the food is really great! The portions are large as one would hope for a take out restaurant and they also deliver!!! They are even clever with how package their soy and duck sauces- they put them into an egg roll bag- they also seem to make a homemade duck sauce that they send along with everything that is really quite good. I give this place 2 thumbs up!!
