Beautiful rest and service was very good . Good prices and good food . You can't go wrong eating here .
Most Popular International food in Highland, New York, United States
This Chinese restaurant is located in downtown Highland, where parking can be difficult to locate. But the food and service are worth the hunt. The menu is typical of most Chinese restaurants, with lunch and dinner specials, a small eat-in area, and a busy order and take out counter. Service was pleasant, food was tasty, and the prices were average. We plan to stop by again.

My daughter and I ate here after our martial arts training. She ordered vegetable lo mein and I ordered a chicken chow fun. It was slightly aggravating that no credit cards are accepted. Maybe these folks need to set up a Square account witb a smart phone. Otherwise no complaints. Very fast service. My daughter said it was the best lo mein she's had. She's quite the critic and she's had lo mein and every chinese restaurant we've been to that serves it. I tried it. It was not too greasy. That tells me that was rather careful with the oil. I could say the same for my chow fun dish. The chow fun was a little bland but some soy sauce kicked it up. The quantities served were adequate. For the convenience of the location, I would say that Main Moon is ok for stopover if you are in need of a chinese food fix. Was it the best I have tried? No. But it got the job done and I woild consider another visit.

Non-traditional Chinese meaning forget sugar and heavy sauce. Many many vegetarian and vegan choices. This restaurants delivers!! Family owners are friendly and responsive. A very very welcome not only to Chinese menus, but to vegetarian/vegan/low fat cuisine, not to mention Chan's vice like monopoly on American Chinese food. Eat there, do take out, have delivery - make this the #1 restaurant in town!
This is a storefront restaurant. The food is real chinese combined with dishes we expect in America. Speak with the cook. We ordered a seafood soup that was filled with shrimp and other sea food and fabulously flavored. We then had shrimp with scrambled eggs and onions and scallions. It was so tasty. We also ordered a filet of fish saute with chinese eggplant. This dish was mouthwatering. The prices are reasonable. Everything is cooked to order. We come here from New York every other week to visit someone in a nearby nursing home. The food here is served beautifully. We wish they were closer.
