As a family, we ALL love eating at Hong Kong restaurant. I don't typically like Chinese food, but theirs is VERY good. Their chicken chow mein is my favorite!! The service is usually friendly and fast. The food is consistently good. It's a great place to go with family as there is usually plenty of seating available with no notice. The prices are very reasonable and seating is comfortable.

My mother took me to this little place in a Derby strip mall. We were seated fairly quickly in what appeared to be the only available table in the restaurant. It appeared that most people were eating from the fairly small corner buffet. There was no price listed for the buffet, and after taking a look at the options on it, we both decided to order instead from the menu. It was difficult to get either of the waiters' attention to bring us menus and glasses of water. Once we finally did, we decided the lunch menu prices ($5.75) were a bargain. It took quite awhile for our food to come out but once it did, the portion was nice sized and we both had leftovers to take home with us. I ordered the Kung Pao chicken, and it was good (although not all that spicy) with lots and lots of peanuts. We again had to flag a waiter down to bring us our bill (even though the restaurant had started to clear out by that time). If you are pressed for time at lunch, I would definitely suggest going with the buffet since I ended up taking a much longer lunch break than expected due to the slow service.
I wasn't expecting anything special from this place but was pleasantly surprised! In addition to the usual selection of hot and cold items they had a nice selection of fresh items that were cooked (stir fried) while you waited. They also had more choices of items on their steam tables than most places.
Was staying at hotel nearby. Location is not something that would grab your attention, but a real surprise inside. Nicely furnished and very clean. A few not so common items from the very ample selection. Everything I had was very good. Impressive, from the expectations I originally had pulling in the parking lot.
I was disappointed in their service for the second time. Today I ordered the spicy shrimp... Mostly it was onions with a few shrimp. I asked for white steamed rice and find fried pork rice when I got home. I also asked for sweet and sour sauce for my egg roll... I even asked a second time and she said "in the bag." I should've looked thin a over before I got home as this was not what I envisioned my order looking like for dinner. Disappointing!

We have living in Haysville for so long, but only recently discovered the China Cafe. The building is worn/rundown, but the owner was nice and polite. Food was cooked fresh and it was good. General Tsos Chicken had a mild spice to it. My beef and broccoli was cooked well it had lots of flavor
