Talk of the perfect summertime patio. This gorgeous, comfortable & hidden gem serves up some of the best North Indian curryâs, continental grilled meats & oriental fare on Havelock island. Overlooking the light & shadow scenes of a dense beetle plantation
This was a wonderful find! Don't know why it doesn't have a better listing on TripAdvisor. We ordered Indian and continental food and everything was available and made fresh. The wait was longish but it was worth it. Fish in lemon butter sauce, chicken in mushroom sauce and palak paneer were some of the highlights. Their hummus and falafel combo was good too. Check out the pics below. :)

I stayed to Silver Sand 2 different times, and both times really enjoyed Zola. It had great staff and the restaurant itself had such great character. The last time I was on Havelock we didn't stay at Silver Sand. They wanted so much more money for the same rooms, which I was told later, that was because they refurb'd the Zola and were putting in a pool, hence they increased the cost. That's fine, we gave our rupees to Coral Reef down the road. So, as we really enjoyed Zola last time we decided to have dinner there one night. WOW it's like a completely different place. It looks likes its been built very well indeed. Only now it reminds me of a food hall. Before it was older and not as modern but it felt like a restaurant on a far flung island in Asia. Now, it doesn't feel like anything. We were quite sad at this upgrade, but we wish them all the best.

We visited this restaurant based on the recommendation of a friend for good seafood. We were not disappointed here. We ordered prawns curry and butter garlic prawns with rice and found the preparation very tasty. The service is also very friendly with lot of suggestions based on the available catch of the day with the restaurant.

Come savour mouth-watering Pizzas, Burgers, Pasta, Chinese & Indian, Milkshakes & the BEST desserts on the island (including ice-creams) coupled with a charming view of the sea and warm service. Awesome Food + Warm service + Alcohol + Children's play area
We visited this restaurant during our recent trip to Havelock and were really impressed with the place and food. Proof of it. We stayed in Havelock for two days and on both the days, we had our lunch here! Its spacious and has a good sea view. The decor has urban sensibiliites - walls dotted with frames having quirky messages, quaint overhead lamps, mirrors over the wash basin having cartoon cut outs, merchandise for sale. The quirkest and most eye-catching one was the denim jeans table mat, complete with pocket (it held the fork, knife and spoon) and belt (it held the paper napkin). You can chill here, enjoy the live music and gorge on yummy food. The menu is extensive and versatile. Indian, continental, chinese, the menu covers them all. The staff is friendly and the service is paced well, not too rushed, not too slow. What we had over two lunches:Chilly Garlic Prawns: spicy and yumButter Garlic Prawns: niceCrab Lollipop: heart winner, paired with spicy tartar dipTandoor Fish: super yum Squid Rings: not a fan of squid but my family loved themChilly Chicken: well madeFarmhouse Pizza: bland and averageMeat Fest Pizza: messy, loaded but could have been better in tasteBuff Steak: Another winner. Potato wedges were also nice.Malabar Prawn Curry: Not badGoan Prawn Curry: DelishBuff Burger: niceThe desserts here are really niceAlmond Pudding: if only it was a little less sweeterChocolate Mousse: the slight touch of coffee really adds to the tasteChocolate Truffle: made better on Day 2Something Different is a must visit beachside cafe, when you are in Havelock.
