I have waited until my fifth visit to rate this restaurant/take away as it is very easy to get carried away with an excellent meal received on a one-off visit, so I can categorically state now that the food and service here is excellent. I have been trying to find a decent Chinese takeaway near to where I live which unfortunately doesnât exist and so I ventured out as far as Brookmans Park to find this gem. Admittedly there is little by way of parking locally but thatâs not the fault of the restaurant, however once inside you are made very welcome if only to select a take away meal. To date I have sampled Kung Po chicken, Singapore noodles, egg fried rice, chicken chow main, smoked chicken, sweet and sour chicken balls, Malay curry, salt and chilli spare ribs and chicken wings, and lemon chicken all of which have been excellent. This restaurant also offers value for money; you may pay a little more than an average Chinese, but the food is not average and the quantity is outstanding for the price. I donât hesitate in awarding five stars.

First visit to this lovely Chinese restaurant. Great service and friendly staff. Very basic but the food was lovely, portions are a good size and reasonable prices. Would recommend.

Tonight ordered a chinese delivery from this place, I had never heard of this place f but after trying 4 other local takeaways in St .Albans Hatfield,that were giving me an hour to and house and a half as they were so busy , googled local Chinese takeaway and this came up so called them , they are only 1 mile from my house. They delivered in 25 mins instead of the 45 min wait they said, the food was delivered in little boxes, so cute like in America. The food was fresh and plenty of it, it is truly the best house special chow mien I have ever had in my long life, full of different meats and a coupe,of large prawns, I have tried plenty of this dish from others places in Hatfield and StAlbans and believe me, I will never go anywhere else from now on. Had a large pancake roll , chicken curry, my husband thought was fantastic, beautiful fluffy egg fried and barbecue spare ribs......wow ! It's a little gem please do try this place ,apparently it has just been taken over and under new management , I rang them to tell them how thrilled I was and they were delighted. Thoroughly recommend this placed, in a not so posh area but don't let that out you off, it nearly did me but I was so hungry I gave in and tried it, thankfully.....it truly is rather special.
