Things to do in Gosford
This was one of the worst chinese meals Ive had, it was overcooked, tasteless, unappealing to even look at..Wont go there again.
Have been here 3 times so far sonce it re-opened. Omg the taste is wonderful. unlike others you dont get that greasy feeling. The staff while new are very nice and helful. each time had the dim sums and omelette the different varieties. highly recommend

Got take-away last week and the food was great. The sweet and sour pork and spring rolls were exceptional. Then last night I got the pork again but it was nothing like the week before, very oily. The Malaysian chicken was nearly all thick batter, with some sauce in the bottom. My wife pulled all the batter off, some of it thicker than the chicken, and it 3/4 filled the container. We thought it best to let them know there was a problem, so this morning I took it back to show them, but got an argument instead of an apology. Possibly there was some problem last night, however it would have been good business to apologise and offer a replacement, rather than lose a customer.

If you want a really nice, freshly cooked chinese meal at good value I would recommend. At lunch time there are always tables full with locals and travellers. You can buy a lunch special for $8.50 which again is freshly cooked - none of the food sits around. Im not sure how it goes for dinner. The owners have done the place up and it looks really good. Husband and wife are owners and very friendly. If you want a dish and its not on the menu just ask and they will make it.. Just a really lovely little place. It is opposite the Elanora Hotel if you want an alcoholic drink, otherwise BYO to the restaurant. Booking would be recommended. We have taken tables of 20 for lunch and the service is speedy and friendly.

We always eat here with our family, a little pricey but worth it. The food is always hot & fresh. The owner is always very polite and helpful.
Great little basic restaurant, with very good food at reasonable price. Not for romantic couples unless their looking for a quick delicious lunch or take away dinner.
All you can eat buffet at a reasonable price. great variety of food from Asian to carvery to seafood. and the dessert selection is awesome. Don't eat too much before going to the Star or you may not be able to fit evrything in. Great value for money

We've been semi-regular customers here for almost 30 years. It was the first restaurant that I took my wife to over 20 years ago and we've had some great meals there. At our recent visit we were informed we could no longer order off the menu, something we have been doing for a very long time after a dish was recommended to us from a friend. This may have tainted our experience somewhat but we found that while the food was nice enough, prices seem to be up and the serving size was not anywhere near what we are used to at this restaurant. Hopefully this was a one off and not a sign of changes to come but we didn't see any of the regular staff who we are used to so there may have been some changes made. Still trying to make up our mind if we will be back again.

I have looked at the outside of this restaurant so many times in driving past. Finally for my birthday tonight my family got everyone together - at the Chinese restaurant I have wanted to try. VERY average cuisine. An extensive menu, but very Australianised. So looking forward to the satay king prawns - a bottled type of sauce, big - though tasteless prawns floating in satay sauce riddled with huge chunks of uncooked onion - just awful !!Honey and lime chicken - sounded very tasty - but - a vague sauce reminding me of lime marmalade and the fried chicken was oily - chef, heat up your oil !!!We returned 3 dished to the kitchen for this oily reason. Special fried rice - ordered a small serve for 2 people - had good flavour, though lacking in prawns, egg, ham, spring onions etc !!!Paid corkage, but luckily no âcakeageâ. We wonât come back. There were only 8 other customers on this Saturday night - no Chinese customers - thatâs always a âtellâ !!

Ordered one chicken n sweet corn soup, average but Ok. Barbecued pork pad siew yoo, sorry about spelling , only had noodles and pork in and no decent veggies, Singapore noodles also lacking ingredients. It is quite cheap and ok if your looking for quick bite, but honestly they could do heaps better. Disappointing.
