Most of the food here are very tasty, my personal favourite will be the bbq pork wan tan mee but for my family will be soy sauce chicken. The fried hor fun and oyster noodle are equally good as well. Definitely will be back for more.Atmosphere : 3/5Food  : 4/5Drinks : 4/5Price. : 4/5Service : 4/5

Tai Tong serves delicious dim sum, served traditionally in carts that frequently circle the restaurant. Travelling with two small children (ages 1 & 3), we arrived at dinner opening time (6pm) and had no issues finding a table. I recommend doing this, as the restaurant is very popular and fills quickly, with queues awaiting a table.Our girls LOVED the dumplings, and this was probably the highlight meal for them in Penang. If you have fussy eaters, I am sure they will find something to enjoy here. There is also an extensive menu to order from a la carte, if you want something other than dumplings (we ordered some greens and fried rice). At this time of year, the ceiling of the restaurant is decorated beautifully with hundreds of Chinese lanterns in preparation for the upcoming Mooncake festival. These are all for sale; we bought our 3yo a red butterfly lantern which made her evening!A memorable dinner in a bustling lively atmosphere, with delicious food. A must for anyone visiting George Town... but do come early if you donât want to wait (particularly if you have little hungry munchkins in tow!)

An early dinner of Hokkien Prawn Mee at 888 Lebuh Presgrave Hokkien Prawn Mee.The address is 67-A Lebuh Presgrave, Georgetown, Penang.Just found out this trip that we can choose the ingredients.First tell them if you want yellow noodles &/or vermicelli. Then tell them what you want to add - pork leg, pork, pigâs intestine, pig skin and crispy 3-layer pork.I love the 3-layer pork best because itâs so crispy. The stall outside on the street that sells âlor bak heh cheeâ was recommended but I think the one at Cafe Kheng Pin looks better. Anyway, there is no more stomach space since we also need to fit in dessert. There are many stalls nearby.

Three varieties / pieces of yong tou fu with long beans and lotus roots beneath to make the dish look fuller in a slightly spicy black bean sauce. Server then cuts into smaller bits : âso you can shareâ. Taste average. No choice given to pick the types of tou fu in your dish . Menu does not mention what types of yong tou fu and the number of pieces you get - deceptive. Very poor representation of yong tou fu. The reason our service crew Cutting the yong tofu into smaller pieces is to make it easier for our customer to enjoy the food from the hot claypot. This is the 2nd time that I have dined at Nyonya Su Pei Private Dining. For me, a Penang visit is not complete without having a visit here. From 2 years ago, the place is still the same, homey and very pleasant. I admire Baba Jerry for the passion he has for the Peranakan heritage dishes and his desire for it be known to all his diners. At the same time, I salute him for the dream to pass down this heritage to the next generation, a generation heavily exposed to fastfood dining. I wish him the best on this aspect.I salute this husband and wife team who have the same degree of passion to what they do. It shows in their dishes that all of are made with love. As each dish is served, I am truly in awe to learn how they are made. Baba Jerry is very much eager to share what comprises the dish and how they are cooked. Oh... if only all the ingredients can be purchased in the Philippines. For this visit, I came with my friends, husband and youngest daughter. Baba Jerry was kind enough to caution if the dish is spicy so my daughter be fairly warned. She was able to taste most of the dishes and liked very much the 5-spice roast chicken (which Baba Jerry described as special dish that requires 2 days to make!), we truly feel very special.I hope to be back again next year and try their new offering. I will always be excited for the meals they will prepare and eagerly listen to how they are made.Again, thanks to your hospitality and making us feel at home. You are not only our host but you have become our friend and family in Penang.

We ate here multiples times during our stay in Penang. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner which we found convenient compared to other places with limited opening hours. The food was tasty and the service was quick. Cannot fault the food for the price paid. Staff were friendly, they gave us a tourist map.Would recommend to anyone looking for authentic food without risking it at a street vendor.

The crispy duck is one of the best I've had, and the pork wasn't far behind! The crispy pork dumplings are also definitely worth a try! All cooked by an extremely friendly man who is always smiling and talking to his customers. A must visit!

Thought it is a great restaurant but just an average after all. Nice atmosphere with live music. The first thing comes to me is the obvious stained glass of Pandan Jasmine Tea which should be seen by everyone yet it served to me. In my thought, the cleanliness of this restaurant is not what I expected as it should be. I'd ordered Grilled Chicken Kapitan which is not grilled at all. It looks like the boiled type. The chicken even has an unpleasant odor from the inside bone part which can tell the chicken freshness.Thank you for dining at Kebaya. We sincerely apologies for the lack of attention to detail to your dining experience. The chicken is sous vide first, then grilled and finally a sauce added to finish the dish off. The chicken is cooked sous vide first to retain the natural juices of the chicken, grilled for flavour and finally sauced to finish it off. We are surprised about the "odour" as the organic chicken is freshly delivered daily.

Visited this lovely little restaurant for the first time tonight..Sat next to a family of 3 or 4 generations enjoying their dinner. We ordered prawn and noodles; the noodles were perfect..proving that noodle cooking is a real art. The waiter modified our order as I don't eat meat, and ordered us a plate of vegetables when we requested one.Thank you for lovely service and great food.
