Things to do in Gaborone
We visited Kung Fu restaurant for a business dinner mid-March. We were 3. My friends took sizzled prawns (chewy, no taste) with fried rice (average), my second friend had chicken rice with bambou chicken, just average and I had sweet and sour pork with egg fried rice. The pork was greasy and chewy, the sauce wasn't sweet and sour but just sweet. Egg fried rice was just ok.Service was slow, they do not bring all the dishes together, which means that when they bring the last one, the first dishes are already cold. Bad service.Atmosphère? Just a canteen. In average, should be more 2.5 that 3. Avoid and find better.
Generally it's great to be able to pickup a few additional items when you are filling up your car. However upon recent trips to Simply Asia - CBD, the mouth full of petrol fumes was just too much. The counter to the restaurant opens up directly in front of the petrol pumps. Not impressed. So I walked round to the outdoor seating to try and get some fresh air only to be disgusted with the extractor fan /ducting oozing oil all over the electrical box and paving.

This one man (woman) takeaway is also a small restaurant. The food takes about 20 min to prepare, but it is worth it. Whether you choose beef or pork or prawns, you will not be disappointed - also the egg fried rice and noodles are special.

The food at Red Lantern is relatively tasty (albeit not memorable) and it's quite cheap. What damaged my experience were the owners' two young children who were allowed to run around playing, shrieking and shouting and generally ruining the ambience. This is not acceptable in a restaurant. The decor was also a little shabby.

Nothing fancy, but good food, good service and a good price. The menu is extensive, although the chef's specials were not available on that night. Nevertheless, choosing from the main menu, we had a delicious meal. Our favourite starter was tripe in gravy sauce, but the star of the meal was a magnificent crab - beautifully cooked and served.A lovely evening

China Resturant has been operational for 25 years, we have recently opened a resturant in CBD iTowers, South Wing, Botswana's tallest building
We have eaten on several occasions at the China Restaurant and once in one of the private rooms for a special occasion. We have enjoyed all the different dishes we have tried with the Chicken Curry being one of our favorites. Only downside is that they have a very limited selection of white wine- but they do allow you to bring your own with a corkage fee. They have a huge menu and you can sometimes get lost in it - but you will never run out of new dishes to try!

Spent my birthday dinner here and loved the ambience and the fact that the food is enough to share and tasty. The customer service could be better though for such a lovely place you need to give world class service
