Find out what Chinese restaurants to try in Famagusta. Famagusta /ˌfæməˈɡʊstə, ˌfɑː-/ (Greek: Αμμόχωστος locally [aˈmːoxostos]; Turkish: Mağusa [mɑˈɰusɑ], or Gazimağusa [gɑːzimɑˈɰusɑ]) is a city on the east coast of Cyprus. It is located east of Nicosia and possesses the deepest harbour of the island. During the medieval period (especially under the maritime republics of Genoa and Venice), Famagusta was the island's most important port city and a gateway to trade with the ports of the Levant, from where the Silk Road merchants carried their goods to Western Europe. The old walled city and parts of the modern town presently fall within the de facto Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in Gazimağusa District, of which it is the capital. It is also notable as the birthplace of the eponymous hero of the Renaissance proto-novel Fortunatus.

We decided to return here with our family as we had such a lovely time. The food was slightly different but still a good quality and variety with plenty of choice for everyone in the party. The dessert table was delicious, remembered to leave room this time
Business Hours : Monday to Sunday 17:00 ~ 23:00
Arrived here in hope of a break from Kebabs & very pleased with decision. Kind, efficient, gentle service in immaculate air conditioned room above bar on first floor. We shared a set menu which consisted of chicken & mushroom soup, spring role, chicken & almonds, beef & mushroom, with rice ( we chose plain but egg fried was included) 69 lira pp & very generous amounts. Hot, clean, & very tasty. Weâd recommend & we are mainstays in Asian food as our preference.

I have been to this Chinese place many times since moving to Cyprus last year. It has to be the best Chinese that I have tasted so far here.I am never disappointed with the food I have there & better still they have veggie spring rolls which is hard to find here. As a vegetarian it's hard to eat in some places. Lucky Cat always has a big variety for me.Prices are good & you always get value for money. I usually end up taking most of it hom as they give a lot.Staff are always welcoming.Only problem I had once was when I decided to pay by card a couple of times, was told it didnt go through but it has after looking at my statement. That was a one off though as my aunt always pays by card there.Overall it's a great place to dine. I would recommend it to people visiting the mall or fancy a good Chinese :)
